*Damon in media*
~Damon's P.O.V~

I woke up and Maddy wasn't curled up in my side. I loved that she cuddled into my side last night. I looked around her house until I found her in the kitchen making breakfast.

She had on a long sleeve black band shirt, black skinny jeans and her hair straightened.

"So answer me something, why aren't you the bright sunny girl I used to mess with?" I asked her. She avoided eye contact.

"Things changed a lot in the last two years." She answered me.

I got up from my chair and went over to the stove where she was cooking at and hugged her from behind. She doesn't know the effect she has on me. I really did miss her in the last two years that I have been gone. I laid my head on her shoulder. I turned my head to whisper in her ear.

"Now answer me truthfully sweetheart. "I said in a husky voice.

"I-I-I c-c-can't t-t-tell y-y-you." She replied.

I pulled her away from the stove and pushed her up against the wall and held her there. My face just inches from hers.

She looked at my lips then back at my eyes.

I leaned in closer to her face, just cemimeters away from her oh so soft looking lips.

"Just tell me princess." I told her.

"I just love the darker colors. It complements my complection." She lied.

The thing about Maddy was that I could always tell if she was lying because her eyes always looked to the right when she lied.

"Now tell me why you're wearing a long sleeved shirt on a 80°F day sweetheart?" I asked.

"I have a past and it doesn't mean that you need to know everything about me. You've been gone for two years. I changed like I said but my feelings for you haven't." She whispered the last part of her rant.

I almost didn't hear what she said but since I was so close to her I heard it as clear as day. My heart swelled when she said that. I picked her chin up so that she would look me in the eye.

"I've loved you for a long time even though I picked on you to no end and bullied you but that was me getting your attention. I left for mom. If I didn't have to leave at all I wouldn't have." I said.

I leaned in the last of the space that was left and kissed her.

She stood shocked at first then started to kiss me back. Her lips were so freaking soft it was like kissing a cloud. She was like heaven. I have been wanting to do this for years.

I pulled away when I thought we both needed air.

"Damon the funny thing is I think I fell for you too." She said with a blush upon her beautiful cheeks.

I know I sound like a chick at this point but I don't care. She makes me happy and all I want her to be is happy.

I may have caused her pain in the past but I'm going to fix that. I'm going to prove to her that she is worth everything that she is amazing. All because I love her.
