My Cousin is Liam?!

Katie's POV

Just a normal day of summer jamming into some music

Chillin' on the bed scrolling to facebook

'Someone like you like how you know and how you speak'

My phone began to ring

"ello?"

"Is this Katie Walker?" A man said through the phone

"Yes"

"Your dad had an accident"

I went silent. maybe this is a prank, yeah maybe it is

"Hello?" the man called up again

"Yes, what happened" I say trying to keep calm and not burst out

"He got shot when the bank your father works in got robbed" He explains

"He tried to stop them but got shot in the stomach"He continued while I quickly get dressed

"Is he going to make it?"

"Im afraid He cant" He said as i hang the phone and quickly hailed a taxi cab

"To the Local hospital please, and make it quick"

As we finally pull up he i payed him whatever was in my pocket and rushed to the emergency room

There he was lying, as i was bursting my tears out, praying to give him another chance, at least just 'One'

"Dad-" I couldnt finish what i was about to say for he cut me off

"Take this" As he hand me a call card

"No dad your not giving up, no please dad please" I said bursting into tears

He finally took his last breath and his mouth forming "I love you"

As i finally burst into tears and laid my head on his chest where the wound was

Then a nurse out her hand over my shoulder

"Sweetie, Im sorry, we have to take him now" She says as i nod

I took another glance at the call card,

"Liam Payne"

I stood there silent

I slowly dialled the numbers as the phone began to ring.

"Liam here" His accent called through the phone

"Liam,Its me Katie, your cousin from Australia" I said calmly.

"Kattieeee how are you!"

"Dad got shot" was all i could say as a silent went between the conversation.

"Is he going to be alright?" He asked. Well no shit sherlock he got fucking shot.

"Hes gone" I blurt out as i could hear Liam sobbing.

Heres the cut, My dad and Liam were always close, me and my sister being the only kids, Liam was like a boy kid for dad when we were younger. they mostly went fishing and all.

But when mum died, we became to seperated that my dad had to work 24/7 at the bank.

"Im picking you up Kate" Liam said

"No, besides i can live with --"

"Thats final Kate no excuses pack up, ill be arriving there in 5 hours"

"Arent you in wolverhampton?"

"The band is in melbourne right now"

And it hit me, he was in the worlds biggest band.
