I heard a howl.
It sounded close.
I'm freaking out and I never get freaked out.
It's ok Katie, this is Hazard a tiny town in the middle of Australia. There are no wolves.
'Katie dinner!' Mum calls. from the kitchen.
'Coming mum!' I call back.
I shut the book I was reading and climbed out of the tree I was in and headed to the house.
Mum, dad, my fifteen year old sister Aurora, my twin eleven year old brothers Josh and Jordan and my baby brother Archeboll were already seated at the table with pot of curry and a pot of rice in the middle of the table.
I take my seat at the table (the seating looks like this:
Me Archeboll
Dad Josh
Mum. Jordan
Aurora.)
Mum serves us all some dinner and we start eating in silence apart from an occasional laugh from Archie.
After dinner we stack our plates in the dishwasher and head to our rooms.
I got changed into my pjs and flopped into bed and dozed of.
