Chapter 9: Hold on

"Good girl" he says in a way that makes me tense up all over until I can't move no more. All I can hear is the sound of my heartbeat. I stare at his eyes, an ocean blue, eyebrows up slightly and his mouth open...his teeth flashing me a devilish smile. My heart quickens...why....what is wrong with me? Stop it Rachel!

He takes a step towards me...and then another, he's so close to me that I begin to feel uncomfortable. But why can't I move? His chest touches my chest and the touch of his thumb against my cheek makes me shiver...but not with fear. I don't know... I keep my breaths silent and I can't move. He smiles and steps back slightly not saying a word.

"Seems as though I'v hypnotised you some how" he chuckles slightly. What? Huh? I quickly snap out of it and I take a step back in confusion and stare at the ground. I...I...what is wrong with me?? Why can't I say anything?? All he did was touch my cheek! What Is he trying to do?

"....I...I"

Before I could figure out what to say, he cut me off and grabs hold of my wrist. What does he think he's doing?

"Hey what-"

"Try not to kill yourself this time" he says and rolls his eyes. "Hold on"

"!!??"

Swiftly and unexpectsbtlyc he swing let's me around on his back. What the hell? Is he serious?! Oh no! Not again! No more flying!! God no!

"Oh no you doooo- ahhhhh!!!" I cut my own sentence off by screaming as we fly through the air at an impossible speed! Get me off!! Get me off!! I wrap my arms around his neck and hold on as tight as I can as we fly up and up. No! I can feel my hands slipping and I quickly wrap my legs around his waist as I'm flinging everywhere, my hair slapping me in the face from the aggressive wind. My stomach churns and feels as though it's about to explode. We fly past the clouds, what? How much farther can we possibly go!? Space!? My ears begin to painfully pop due to the build up of pressure. Just stop now! I can't take much more of this, I'm going to let go.

"Stop! fucking Slow down!!" I scream in his ear as I lean my chin against his shoulder and try to kick his legs. We suddenly stop in place and my head pounds at the sudden stop. Owwww!! I almost flew right out of my own grasp! I'm out of breath and I try to regain my energy.

"You know for a small little girl, your pretty strong" he laughs. Small? Little??

"Excuse me?! I am not a little girl! I maybe small but I'm an adult!" I yell and kick him in the side. " and why are you laughing?! That was way out of line! Just put me down! Not everything is a game you know, and you and your ring of boys almost got me killed about 100 time today and it's not-"

"But don't you know games are my specialty? You can't be a lost boy if you can't have fun"

"I don't really care, now if you don't mind, id like to go back to that beach now so just put me down-"

"Ok"

Ok yeah that's right! Now- wait what? Ok? Is that it? Is he serious. Yeah...wishful thinking. What do you think he tries to do next? He let's go of my wrist but before I could fall, I quickly latch onto his belt and hang from the buckle. I'm not that dumb and besides, I ain't falling from this high up! I know his tricks. His laughs irritate me even more.

"Wow just wow I am so amused" I say sarcastically as I take hold of his shoulders. I so badly want to punch him but that wouldn't be a wise idea right now since if i so that I'll just be killing myself. He finally stops laughing and fixes his shirt, pulling the material over his bare back.

"You almost took me off my balance" he laughs. I'm not even going to try anymore with him.

"Jerk" I mumble under my breath. "Just please don't do that again"

"As you wish malady" he smiles begins to fly slow.

"Can we just get a move on to the ground now, I'm not particular fond of heights"

....ohh how I wish I didn't say that!! I immediately saw his grin and that's when I grip his shoulders tightly. Of course I know what's coming. Annnnnnddddd....he launches himself swiftlyq downwards and I scream at the top of my lungs holding on and closing my eyes. Why does he have to do this?! He said he wouldn't do it! ...don't look down...just don't open your eyes. Finally we slow down and are flying slowly now through the air.

"You said you wouldn't do it" I say to him with an annoyed expression.

"Ohh you mean that!"

"Just don't do neither again!" I snap. "Put me down..this time when we are on the ground thanks."

I open my eyes and I'm almost touching the ground. Pan lifts me up and holds me by the wrist and drops me hard on the dirt. Ignoring the pain, I pull myself up and watch him as he flies down.

"Camps this way" he points and signals me to walk in front of him. I do what he says and fold my arms. I kick the dirt infront of me while we walk through the plants and tall trees.

"Can't you just teleport us there like you always do to me?" I ask irritated.

"Yes but we are walking, I used up all my energy flying"

Whatever, he didn't even need to do that! What was his goal of than anyway? To impress me? Nope. To annoy me? Cos that certainly worked. Suddenly I hear thunder and a flash of lightning haunts the skies and I jump. I'm about to complain but then I see the camp up ahead. The fire still burning bright. I don't want to stay here...I just want to go home. I turn to pan and shake my head but he walks ahead. As i enter the lost boys camp, there are huts made out of wood and sticks around aswell as tents and a big gigantic thick tree in the middle with ropes and holes on the end. The lost boys don't seem to be around but they are probably on their fishing job. Pan signals me to wait on the log by the fire and he disappears....I turn around to the trees...I should go...but I don't. They all will just catch me again. There's no point. but Ahhhh!! What the hell, I just can't believe that He expects me to stay in this camp after he tries to poison me??!! Is he really that messed up? Wow! Just wow! I cross my arms as I wait. Little rain drops start to drop on me and overtime the fire burns out. I start to draw random shapes in the dirt but stop as I hear a faint sound. I turn my head. Theres no one there. I must be hearing things. I then hear a whistle coming from over by the first hutt. Ok I definitely heard something that time. I hear chattering and laughing. And then I hear the tree infront of me vibrate. Huh?? Suddenly people start to jump out of the holes in the tree and swing from the robes. They are yelling. Oh it's the lost girl.

"Lost girl!!" They yell at me. I quickly get up as they are all running towards me. Oh shit! what now?!
