Chapter 1

As soon as I laid eyes on him I knew he'd be the perfect one. His beautiful blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. It was amazing, I've like him for a while now, but I doubt he'd want to be with a girl like me. I'm 5'4, 140lbs with violet purple, neon pink, dark pink and light purple hair. I'm almost have a perfect pear shape body, 32D boobs and a nice ass. But I still can't be with him because of how I am and what I'm into..... But damn he's so amazing. My name is Katyln and this story is about my new life.

"Katyln, get down here now!"
"Why mom? It's Saturday there's no school."
"Don't argue with me, put clothes on and come down. We have company."
"Ok mom."
A few minutes later.
"What's so important that it has to ruin my sleep mom?"
"Katlyn, this is Troy, Troy this is my daughter Katyln." My mom said to kind for my liking.
"Mom I know him already." I told her
"H..how do you know him?" She asked sounding confused.
"He was the school player until he left. The kids at the school were so happy he left, especially the girls. No offense Troy." I said a little to bitchy for my moms taste.
"Watch your tone Kate. It's not lady like to be a bitch. I told Troy he could stay here until his mom gets back from a work conference."
"Fine where will he be staying?" I asked I hope it's not in my room.
"In your brothers old room." My mom said. I released a big sigh I didn't know I was holding in.
"How long will he be here?" I asked
"My mom won't be back for another week," so your stuck with me Kate."
"Oh boy! This will be so much fun!" I said as sarcastically as I could.
"Kate show Troy where the room is, I have errands to run." My cunt of a mother says.
"Dip shit follow me.. The room is up the stairs, the first door on the left." I tell him
"Thanks sexy." Troy said winking at me
"Ew gross douche" I said as I went to my room to put my clothes away. I connect my phone to the speaker and blare "Same Old Love" by Selena Gomez. I hear a knock at my door.
"Who is it?" I ask while dancing and signing to the song. No one answers so I walk over to my door and open it and he falls in face first.
"What the hell are you doing in front of my door Troy? I yelled because he might've heard me singing. That wouldn't be good, I don't want any one knowing I can sing.
"I heard this song playing and I heard you singing, I......I..... You have an amazing voice. I didn't know you could sing."  He said stammering. I have to admit he's cute when he stammers. What the hell Kate you can't think like that towards him.
"Earth to Kate? Snap out of it before I get cold water and throw it on you."
"Sorry Troy. What were you saying?"
"I said you have an amazing voice, why are you not signing up for the school musical?" He asks coming closer to me.
"Because... I.... I don't like singing in front of people." I said starting to remember middle school.
***Flashback***
"Kate Ginn?" An unfamiliar voice says.
"I'm here." I say hiding behind my pink and blue hair.
"Will you come up and introduce yourself to the class and tell us a little about yourself." My teacher asked. I don't even know her name.
"Sure" I get out of my desk and walk up to the front. "Hi my names is Katyln, but call me Kate. I'm from Minneapolis, Minnesota. My mom and I moved to Los Angeles because her job relocated her here. I just turned 14 in August. Um... Any questions?"
All the hands are up. Great I thought to myself.
"Lexi, what's your question?" My teacher asked. ~note to self blondie with glasses is Lexi who looks like a whore.
"You look like your poor? Do you need clothes? She asked snide.
"No I don't because I don't give a fuck what the hell I look like, I ain't got no one to impress, so I don't gotta dress slutty like you." I said back
"GIRLS! That is enough" the teacher yelled. I looked at her flipped her off and grabbed my stuff and left. Before I left the class I said the funniest thing ever.
"Hey Lexi, there's a new store you should shop at." I said trying not to laugh.
"Like omg what's it called. Like I totally have to go there."
I looked at her and said, " it's called whores-r-us. It'll be perfect for you." I laugh as I leave class.
I walk down the hall, I'm listening to "Not Myself Tonight" by Christina Aguilera. As I'm walk I am approached by a teacher who looks like she's in her mid twenties. She stops me.
"What's your name? She asks. Shit I'm in trouble I think.
"I'm Kate, I'm new here." I said trying to keep calm.
"I'm Ms. Jessica, I'm the drama club teacher. Here's a flyer for our musical. It's called "Songs that set us free." You should sign up."
"Thank you Ms. Jessica I'll think about it."
"Ok. I hope you decide to sign up. I'll see you around Kate."
I leave knowing I have to go to the principals office. But I don't go, during free period I go sign up for the musical. Ms. Jessica sees me and claps her hands together and says," Katyln your here, I'm so glad to see you. Ready to perform?" She asks.
"Sure Ms. Jessica." I said walking to the stage.
"What song will you be singing Katyln?" She asked.
"I will be singing Not Myself Tonight by Christina Aguilera." I said nervously. The other kids in the auditorium sits down and watches.
**a few minutes later**
"Boo you suck you little bitch." Lexi said. I withheld the tears that I felt forming in my eyes because I had to be strong. My mom wouldn't be proud if I let some kid make me cry because they said something mean.
"Shut the fuck up bitch, your the one who sucks." I said laughing  she looked hurt by what I said. It serves that little bitch a wake up call. I thought to myself, I'll never sing in front of people again.
**end of flashback***
