I remember seeing your tear-stained face.
I can still see you in my dreams.
And when i close my eyes your face is still there.
I can hear your soft sobs as tears roll down your beautiful face.
Your make up smearing as you try to wipe the tears away.
I can feel your hands beating on my chest
As i hold you in my arms tightly.
The way your body slowly fell to the ground as your legs shook and gave out.
As i still had my arms wrapped around you.
I wish i could have taken away the pain i know is in your now broken heart.
I would turn back time and change things.
So you'd never have to feel this heartache.
If only i could reverse time.
If only i could take away the pain.
If only i had never met you that day.
Then maybe you wouldn't be hurting so much.
You wouldn't be crying to me right now.
Beating your small hands onto my chest.
Telling me that i cant leave you.
I'd never leave you alone on purpose.
If i could change things so I could stay with you.
Id do it without a second thought.
Please forgive me for causing you such heartache and pain.
Please dont hate me for leaving
Because I love you so much
And i cant live knowing you hate me.
So please say you still love me
The same way that i love you
Dont cry anymore tears out of those beautiful eyes of yours.
Which I have come to love so much.
I'll be yours forever even while we're apart.
