She was born on 10th March, after being 9 months in her mother's womb she came into this world. A harsh place
She was a bright child. Always stood first in class. As she grew up her brain kept grasping knowledge which even she didn't know where to use. All she did was studied whatever was given to her. I don't think she really understood anything cause she wasn't using her brain at all. What she used was her memorising skills. This didn't just end in school, she did the same thing in college. Neither the school nor the college gave a damn. Both these places which were supposedly our second home, didn't give a damn about their children. The teachers just entered the classroom, dumped the knowledge which was as good as garbage as the child didn't even know where to apply this knowledge.
The classroom, a place which should've been the epicenter of learning, a place where teachers should be considered as the temple of knowledge, a place where students had respect for their 'guru' and treated them as they treated their parents. With respect. But, unfortunately this wasn't the case. The classroom was no less than a dumping ground. A bin of knowledge. And the students,no less then rag pickers
The teachers dumped their knowledge in the class and then students like her picked it up as fast as they could. Not every rag picker is good at its job. She passed her college with fine marks. Her parents were open minded, enough open minded to send her to degree college.
Things were a little better at degree college. She learned that all guys are jerks and you should trust none of them
If you were expecting a change in the education system then, man you are expecting too much
Her parents thought she was a scholar. They were right , if you look from their perspective. Cause from their perspective all you could see was her marks, her grades and nothing else. For them anything beyond that was bad influence of the western world.
They had admitted her child in an English medium school. But failed to realise that her daughter couldn't even frame proper sentences. She was stammering while speaking the language.
Just to show that whatever she learned throughout her school and college was a waste of time, her parents decide to get her married. But no,if she gets married without doing anything further the story would be incomplete that's why, she tells her parents that she wants to work.
She first said that she wanted to work for a multinational firm but her parents(who were not that open minded) denied as they thought it would allow too much of an exposure in the outside world and that would mean that she would forget the values she learnt in her childhood. In such a situation the only other job which would suit her was teaching, cause as a teacher all she would have to do is go to the classroom teach, score the children by judging them whatever they write on a piece of paper and come back home. Good for both the parties
So, she selects teaching as her profession, she goes to the classroom dump whatever she learned (or I should rather say collected). After teaching for a few years she could become/choose to be one of the following type. Either she could be the teacher who enters the bin dumps the garbage and goes back. Not giving a damn about the children. Or she could be the teacher who keeps nagging, the teacher who is annoyed at everything. Hating the existence of human beings.(PS:The teaching method doesn't change)
Students who are not good rag pickers blame the person who dumped the waste. Who is supposed to be blamed? No one knows
After a career of more than thirty years she now retires. She enters the last stage of a life. A part in which people prepare themselves to go back from where they came. Again she has a choice. Either she could be the old woman who realises what a waste her life was and starts living these few years with happiness. Or she could be the old woman who is nagging all the time, taunting and commenting on everyone she meets.
Either of these lives will ultimately get her to grave. So, who cares what one does, how one lives, you ultimately end up in grave who cares! Really, who cares?
