Bryan

I was sitting down with Dey drinking my smoothie waiting for Dey to reply. She was staring at someone with a worried expression. What could she be thinking about which would take her so long? I called her name and she sat there with the same expression. I started waving my hand in her face. Then she jumped, shooked her head and look at me confused.

"Hello I am still waiting for my answer."

She blinked at me.

"Oh yes umm. Sorry what was the question again?" She asked confused.

I just sighed at her and she took a sip of her smoothie while covering her face.

"I asked you what would you rate him."

I pointed at the guy again and she quickly looked at him then back at me.

"Oh umm. I give him a 5." She said quickly as she got her stuff together and got up.

"Can we go now?" She said while looking at me worried.

I looked up at her wondering why she was putting her things away.

"Where you going? Sit down."

I tried to grab her hand but she moved her hand and started to walk away. I quickly put the money on the table; got my things and started to catch up with her.

When I got outside she was all the way down the road. So I started running after her. I soon got up to her and grabbed her hand making her turn around. She looked like she'd seen a ghost.

"What got into you there? What is the matter?" I asked her.

She wiped her forehead with her hands, looking teriffied then looked at me. "Can we please just go away now?"She then looked behind me.

Her eyes started to widen then she turn and carried walking away fast.

Why was she acting this way for? There is clearly something serious that she is hiding from me, that she doesn't want to spill.

I caught up to her again and stood in her way. She looked annoyed and tried to push me out of the way.

"Bryan get out of my way." She said with a frustrated tone and tried to push me out of the way.

I grabbed her shoulders and looked at her. She stared back looking more scared.

"I'm not going anywhere until you tell me whats wrong."

She started to relax then started to cry a bit.

"Please can we go? I can't stay here anymore. I really need to go Bryan please. I can't say here. Please."

Tears started coming down her eyes. I put her in my arms.

"Let's go. But you have to tell me what's wrong okay?" She looked at me and nodded.

We both got into my car and I drove off.

She kept looking out the window the whole ride, and no one said a word.

When we got to her house. She rushed out the car and into her house while leaving the door open for me. I got out the car and into her house. I closed the door behind me and went into her living room. She was sitting on the couch with her head on her knees and her arms wrapped around her legs. I went to sit next to her and put her head onto my shoulders.

"Dey, whats wrong? Why did you rush out the shop like that?" I asked.

She looked at me then covered he face with her hands. I put them down and she looked at me. "Bryan. I'm scared."

I hugged her and kissed her forehead. "Whatever it is. You can tell me and I will do my best to help. But I can't do anything until you tell me what's wrong."

She got off me and wiped her eyes. "You promise you won't get angry; or get mad at me for not telling you; or go on some next rampage." I chuckled at her and smiled.

"Of course I won't. But I don't promise."

She put her head on my lap. "Well it was a while ago......before we moved back here with you lot."
