prologue

Michael kissed his mom a goodbye as he eagerly got out of his car, today was his first day of college and his goal was to find a good fraternity home.

He wanted to find a nice welcoming home, that respected his way of dressing and could give him some friendly love.

His cheeks and nose were a rosy soft pink from the chilly weather that morning, but yet he couldn't help but wear his soft pastel pink skirt and fluffy white sweater.

He smiled and waved at everyone he passed by as he dragged his hot pink suitcase behind him, usually receiving a bored or blank expression but he was lucky enough to get a smile from two boys at a booth.

Michael grinned as the two boys called him over, the first one having tan skin and raven colored hair with a caramel blonde streak decorating the front, and the second one having curly bouncy brunette hair and dimples showing as he smiled.

"Hi" Michael said with a huge smile as he got closer to the two boys.

"Hey are you looking for a fraternity house?" The tan boy asked with hope in his eyes.

"Actually I am!" Michael said grinning as the tan boy handed him a flyer.

"Yes! We're looking for one more person,you should totally consider it because it'll be really fun, we can eat pizza every night and watch Netflix an-" Ashton rambled off.

"Ashton don't scare him away! You make us sound like we're lazy!" Calum said pouting as he hit Ashton on the back of his head, causing Michael to let out a small giggle.

"So what do you say?" Calum asked smiling cheekily.

"I'd love to join!" Michael said eagerly happy that he had found such nice people.

"Ok so here's all the paperwork you can fill it out whenever you want and just give it to me when you join us in the house!" Calum said cheerfully.

"Sounds good I'll see you guys later" Michael said giving one last goodbye and deciding to explore around the campus for a while before heading to the house.

Michael slipped happily throughout the campus looking at the huge building and the pretty flowers growing on the ground.

As we walked around he had picked up a small hot chocolate, he took small sips of it as he checked his phone that kept buzzing from his worried mothers texts, as he slipped his phone into his pocket he bumped into someone tall making him fall to the ground

Michael held his pounding head as he looked at a attractive blonde that he had bumped into.

"You've got to be kidding me you just ruined my favorite shirt! This was $50!" The blonde boy sneered as he pushes his sunglasses up his nose.

"I-I c-can buy you a new one" Michael stuttered out afraid the boy would lash out at him again.

Luke scoffed scanning Michael's clothes "yeah right you can't even afford to wear boy clothes" Luke said harshly.

Michael looked down to his choice in clothing feeling tears form at his eyes but he restrained them knowing he had to be strong.

By now the blonde boy had walked away into the crowd leaving a insecure Michael.

Michael's happy mood had been replaced with gloomy and sad, he dragged his small feet on the ground as he yanked his suitcase behind him.

He smiled a little knowing that at least he would share the home with kind people and none snobby like the attractive blonde.

He took a deep breathe before knocking on the big red door, Michael was instantly greeted by a grinning Calum.

"Hey we were worried you wouldn't show up!" Ashton said from the inside of the house.

"Come in, come in make yourself at home!" Calum said yanking the small boy inside the house.

"Lucas come here!, he's the fourth person" Aston explained making Michael nod.

Michael could hear footsteps going down the stairs.

"Sorry I'm late some asshole spilled cof-" Luke started but as he looked up his eyes narrowed as he pointed an accusing finger at Michael.

"Do yo guys know each other?"
