I leaned against the doorway of Deliah's room. She didnt see me, and she was walking about the room, dusting every surface to keep herself busy. I smiled bitterly. Another flashback hit me, picking up where the last left off.

***

"I'm the Angel Deliah," the girl said.

"Caelin," I replied.

Things took off from there. She came from heaven to visit me. I fell in love with her. But then, there was trouble.

Alanze. So jealous of my love for Deliah. That was when the Whole Big Mess started.

***

"Caelin, what the hell are you doing ion my room? Deliah asked, pulling me to the present.

"Not in your room," I replied. I stuck a hand out, nearly touching her. "Now I am." I grinned, and she scowled.

"Get out."

"Dont be a b..ch!"

"Thats Ms. B..ch to you."

I laughed. I wasnt mad at her anymore, but she still hated me.

It was later in my room that the flashback came again. It wasnt a good one.

***

I kissed Deliah softly on her snow-white head. "I'm sorry heaven wont take you back," I whispered.

"It's worth it to be here with you." she answred. Sh ebrought her mouth to mine, and kissed me slowly. I shivered.

And then there was a noise outside.

I got up to see who it was, promising my love to be back soon. I ran down the stone steps to meat cold gray eyes.

"Hello, Caelin," the girl whispered. She had long, tangled black hair that twisted around her waist.

"Alanze!" i said. She was a pretty infamouse demon.

She backed me up against the wall. "So, whos the girl?" she said, grinning.

"Thats Deliah, and if you touch her I swear..."

"Ooo, calm down. She's... safe. On one condidtion."

"What would that be?"

She undid the top button of my shirt.

"No!" I yelped. She frowned.

"Hmm, wrong answer!" she said. "I want you, Caelin. But, if you wont have me..."

She ran up the stairs before I could stop her.

I ran after her. I found her in Deliah and mine's room. She had Deliah pinned by the neck against the wall.

"Deliah!" I shouted.

"Do you change your mind?" said Alanze, grinning wickedly.

"Let her go!"

"Only if you give me what I want."

Deliah stared at me, unable to speak. Her wide blue eyes were beginning to fill with tears. Hundreds of years of my love for her welled up in me then. I ran at Alanze.

But I was too late.

Even as I shuved her to the side, she began to chant words in Latin. Deliah's form was dimming. Her last words to me were, "I'm sorry..."

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I yelled. I dropped to my knees, tears falling from my eyes endlessly. "What did you do to her, b..ch?"

"Oh, she's not dead. Not yet..." Alanze said. She grinned. "Your Deliah is now mortal."

"No..."

"Yup. She will be reincarnated into a new life each time she dies, until the end of eternity. You can never tell her who she realy is. She cant remember, or I will kill her. For good."

I didnt say a word. I was curled in a ball on the floor. I couldnt breath. No... no, please, let it be a dream...

Alanze laughed.

***

"Caelin! Wake up! It's only a dream!" I heard a voice say. No... it wasnt possible... the last 150 years of my life hadnt been a dream... Deliah wasnt going to be there when I woke up.

I opened my eyes to meet her blue ones.

"Oh, my God..."

She raised an eyebrow. "Oh your God what? You were screaming. By the way, Zara says that dinner is ready. Get up."

Oh. It wasnt a dream. Deliah had no clue who she was.

I nodded, and folowed her to dinner.

"Zara, this has to end. Soon." I said 3 hours later. Deliah was sleeping.

"I know," Zara replied.

"I need her back."

"I know. How did that curse go again?"

"'You can never tell her who she really is. She cant remeber, or I will kill her.' I cant see any other way around it. We have to kill Alanze."

"Wait, Caelin," Zara said. "Did she mention a specific person who couldnt tell her?"

"No."

A grin spead across Zara's face. "I think I found another way."
