Scarlett's point of view

I wake up with a pounding headache and suddenly a hand on my forehead. I open my eyes to see my mother staring down at at me.

"How was the party sweetheart?" she asked. She was always chill with me getting drunk at parties. She just knew I wanted to live my life without caring.

"It was sick mom. They got a professional dj" I said getting up. If you're wondering my father was never in my life. He died in a car crash before I was even born. I mean most people at least have a picture as a baby with their dads or something like that...but I have nothing.

"That's great but umm before I go to work I need to tell you something. Please don't be mad" she said with worry in her eyes.

"What guy did you bang this time mom" I slightly chuckled knowing me and my mom were pretty similar.

"Umm well it's not really that well it kind o-"

"Mom spill it" I cut her off.

"im engaged" she blurted out
