I wake up to an annoying beep. I know its my alarm but I am just not ready. Not ready to move, to shower, to get dressed, to eat, to go to WORK. I roll over slamming my hand down on my dismiss button. The beeping finally stops. I slowly open my eyes to see a little light shinning into my room from my window. I groan. Why do I have to go to work? Why can't I just lay here all day and sleep. Who needs money? Oh wait. I do. I look over at my alarm clock seeing that I slept in an extra 10 minutes. I thank myself for setting my alarm for 15 minutes earlier than I actually needed to get up. I finally kick my covers off of me. I slide out of bed and go to do my morning routine. I know my brothers still sleeping, he will be sleeping until about noon today.

I walk into work smiling at my co-workers as if I am happy to be here. I work at a beauty college. All I do is sit all day, answering phone calls and booking appointments. It is a very boring job. It beats standing all day though. So I sit there for 8 hours, every day, pretending to be happy.

I get home and walk towards the kitchen, the fridge is my savior, my babe, this fridge is always going to be there for me.  I kinda laugh to myself, I really need help if I think all I need in life is a fridge. I stop at the counter seeing a note from Kody. "At class then practice, I'll be home by 7. Make sure to save some left overs for me." I roll my eyes. He thinks i'm going to actually make a meal? Ha. I make myself some left over pizza and lay down in my bed grabbing my laptop and watching Netflix until Kody gets home at seven.

I am right in the middle of a Grey's Anatomy episode. Christina is holding a fucking human heart in her hand. Oh my god. What the hell are they going to do next like what is there that can possibly do for this man?! I hear the front door open. Shit. I forgot to make Kody some food. I quickly pause my episode and close my laptop, as soon as I do that my room goes pitch black. Shit. I open my laptop and run and turn on my light. I open my bedroom door not seeing my brother as I yell out "I totally forgot to make super. I will start some right now." I walk towards the kitchen as I look up and see my brother at the door with a strange guy next to him. I mean the guy is VERY sexy like lord have mercy on his beautiful soul. I look at my brother confused "Um hi?" My brother gives me an innocent smile but we both know it isn't so innocent.

"No fucking way Kody! There isn't even any room. I am not going to have some random guy sleeping on our couch. That is not acceptable." I look at Kody. My arms crossed as I am beyond pissed. He wants this kid to come live with us. No. I don't take in random strays.

"Just for now Janelle, he needs this." My brother looks at me with pleading eyes. I know he has a soft spot somewhere in that cold heart but really? It has to be for this guy.?

I roll my eyes. "Fine. But just for now. Seriously Kody. I don't like this." I look at him my face as serious as can be. He smiles. "Yes ma'am." He claps his hands once and jumps to turn "Okay dude so you will be sleeping on the couch and..." He rambles on giving this new guy a tour of the small apartment. I close my eyes. This was probably a very bad idea. When I open my eyes I see him looking over at me smiling the most gorgeous smile I have ever seen and then he winks and walk towards the living room with my brother, disappearing from my line of sight. Oh lord. What is this boy going to do to me.?
