The girl fell with a thud onto the hard ground. She lifted her head up to discover she was laying in the center of a forest. The thick evergreens touched the dark night sky. She let out  a frightened gasp and crawled into a sitting position. A tear escaped her eye as she beheld the world in front of her. It all seemed so familiar. Something out a of a dream, her dream. She lifted her knees up against her chest and let her long red hair touch the forest floor. Her quite sobs were silenced by the sound of footsteps approaching. She snapped her head up to revel a boy standing over her. Behind him was a group of boys. They were all so much bigger than her!

"Well what do we have here?" He said as he went down to rest on one knee. "You certainly look lost," The young girls eyes followed his before she nodded slightly. "Tell me, little one, how'd you end up here?" The Lost Boys stared at their leader. He almost never showed affection, especially to newcomers. Perhaps it was the fear gleaming in her eyes, or the fact that she had folded herself into a ball of red curls. The girl considered his question before answering.

"I was in my room when a shadow man took me" He looked at her curiously. Why had his shadow brought him a little girl? Oh well, she might serve as good company for his Truest Believer. But she was so much more, she would lead him to an even more complex mystery. And boy did he love a puzzle.
