I layed back on my bed. It had been three months. Three months since I had been in Hell.
A small smile touched my lips. 'Hey, mom, an angel dragged me to the depths of Hell, and I made a new best friend and possibly found my soulmate! Doing just fine. With love, Deliah.' I make it sound like summer camp.
There was knock at my door. Zara walked in, her short black hair ruffled. She had a long bag in her arms.
"Here," she said, handing the package to me. "Try it on. There's going to be another gala, and Caelin wants you read within a few hours."
"Oh? Well you can tell Caelin that I am not a dog and will not be ordered around like one."
"What if I said please?" said a voice at the door. I looked up to see Caelin. His black eyes were glittering like onyx, and hey was smiling.
I smiled back at him, my eyes glued to the floor. "I suppose... If you said please..."
"Please?"
I grinned and took the dress. Zara rolled her eyes.
I was in the spacious bathroom that Caelin had provided for me. It looked kind of stone-agey... This whole place did. It was basicaly a castle, but Caelin called it a mansion.
The bathroom was huge, and fit for royalty. It had a pool-sized bathtub, and every kind of soap anybody could immagine. The sink was a huge basin.
I turned on the faucet for the bath. I knew it would take a while to fill, so I decided to take a look at the dress.
I carefuly slipped the plastic off of the dress. I gasped when I saw it.
It was long. When I put it on, it would flow to my ankles. It was icy blue, so as to bring out my eyes. It was tight-fitting until it got to the waist, where it flowed down fleely. It was beeded just under the chest, where beads of a darker blue shaped the pattern of a flower.
I touched the dress in awe. I loved it.
I turned away and grabbed a random bottle of bubble bath. I snapped it open, inhaling the scent of cherry blossoms.
I stepped into the bath, letting the hot water wash over me. I soked a while. When I got out, I put on makeup. Just a bit of eyeliner... Blue eyeshadow... Blush on my cheekbones... Light pink lip shimmer. There. I was ready.
**Caelin**
I shook wet hair out of my eyes as I buttoned up my black dress-shirt. I dusted off my black jeans. I stretched, my wings unfolding behind me. I smiled.
It was pretty obvious that Deliah didnt hate me anymore... But I needed her to love me before she knew about her true past.
I sat on the edge of my bed. I ran a hand through my hair, thouroghly screwing up the work that Zara had forced apon me.
I was so close to having her. Zara could tell her, and we would be together again. It was my dream come true.
But could I get her to love me?
Well, I had done it before...
I could only try.
**Deliah**
I took a deep breath as I walked to the gala with Zara. She was in a little black dress, and she looked sexy, even to me. She would be turning heads. And... I couldnt belive it. She had polished her little horns!
I held back giggles as she opened the door. There were people, demons, and Dark Angels everywhere. I stuck close to Zara's side, hoping that we wouldnt run into Keal. I hadnt forgotten that Dark Angle's stunt at the last gala.
I spotted Caelin in the crowd. He looked wonderful, dressed in all black with his sleek wings folded at his sides. He smiled when he saw me, and beckoned Zara and I to him.
We talked for a while before he asked me to dance.
I took his hand, feeling nervous. We had danced at the last gala, but that had been when I had hated him. Now my hand was slick in his as he led me to the dance area.
The band started up. It was a slow dance. The music was strange... It shook me to the bone.
Caelin placed a hand on my waist.
