As I sat in the waiting room a shiver ran up my back. I began biting my nails, anxious for the dentist to call me into her office. I looked around the room. To my right was my mother, skimming through a magazine from the coffee table in front of us. A couple chairs to my left was a girl who, like me , was looking around.

I turned to look at the lady across the room when something on the girl caught my eye. A shimmering ring placed on her index finger sparkled when it caught the light on the ceiling. It was then when I noticed how pale her skin was, bleached and colorless yet radiant . I traced her skin with my eyes until it lead to hair the color of midnight.

I was in awe of her natural beauty when the dentist called the girl's name. "Sophronia Dixon"

Sophronia leaped up from the wooden chair, revealing an out-of-date bell skirt. She looked like she had jumped out of a mid-1800's catalogue. She walked swiftly to her dentist's office. Her 19th century essence clashing with the 21st century surroundings. Sophronia turned right, into a room, leaving only the memory of her behind.

A little after Sophronia left I got called in to my dentist. I peered into the windows as I walked down the hall, hoping to catch another glimpse of Sophronia, but I didn't. I walked into the dentist's office a little frustrated.

Sometime during the appointment, a girl that looked like Sophronia walked by. Same dark hair, same pale skin, same mysterious grey eyes but this girl had different clothes on. This girl wore skinny jeans and a hoodie, which covered part of her head. She walked by innocently and I didn't think anything of it. Until I got to school.

When I arrived at Dessdale I was already an hour late. I quick-walked to class room as fast as I could. But not without passing a girl with pale skin, dark hair, grey eyes and a hoodie.
