After a few weeks full of stress and hard working, without seeing each other directly and only secret glances were sent to each other, Levi and Petra had finally met and planned a friendly eat out. Just a friendly eat out. Note it. But it would never be a 'friendly' eat out to Hanji, Mike or Nanaba, or any other co-workers who heard the gossip.

Levi tried his best to finish all the works he had to do with his students, they had a water balloon fight at least two times in that week, Jean and Eren couldn't get along with each other for like decades but there was a day which Mikasa was absent and they got in a real fight and Armin wasn't there to solve things out, until a very new lad came introduced himself as Marco Bott, and the fight has ended somehow, and since Marco was a new student, Levi had to spent a lot of time to help him around, he ended up giving Jean the job instead.

For Petra, the ginger stayed up late for nights and woke up earlier for the entire weeks, which she was never settled for. She worked hard on testing lessons, she had done well with them and officially got the job at Shingeki High. Everything has gone very well to her and everyone here were very nice to her. However she was struggling to get along with the new experience of working non-stop. Nanaba and Hanji appeared as her old-still-best-friends from university and it was such a luck.

"That's literally what happened in the last entire week." She ended telling her story. Levi sat across her, his chin rested in the palm and his elbow propped on the white clothes covering their table. They were inside of a small restaurant also called the Tumbucks, they created it by morphing Starbucks and Tumblr. The place was perfectly comfy, cozy, hipster-y lovely. They have the menu just like original Starbucks but changed slightly and the place was decorated with the website's related stuff.

"You're so lucky you have a normal life, I have to deal with such freaks." Levi said, obviously telling a joke but still have the same straight emotion on his face. And obviously if it's a good joke Petra would laughed or chuckled at it, which she did.

"You don't mention Hanji and your students do you?" She asked, cocking an eyebrow.

"Who else?" Levi raised his hands, showing how oblivious who he was mentioning. Petra just giggled. His friend also known as Moblit, walked up to their table, his dark blue apron swinging with every steps he took. A tray filled with two plates and two different drink on his hand.

"Your lunch is served." He said in a very fake and awful British accent as he set the tray down on the table. Both of them mumbled a thank you to him but Petra gave him her warm smile which just enough to make the raven haired flutter. They dug into the meal without any words exchanged. Levi ordered roast chicken and salad with his typical Americano while Petra had smoked salmon sandwiches with fries and a cup of tea. An awkward moment of silence passed by with two pairs of eyes just stared at each other while munching the food, it had finally broke when Levi decided to began with some casual questions.

"So, in the last few weeks, how do you feel about your job?"

"Sounds like a business job?" Petra chuckled and joked back.

"No, no, I'm asking this seriously." Levi shook his head. "Do you feel like it?"

"It's fantastic. You guys are really nice and all, plus I love working with growing teenagers."

"Do you have any trouble with this job?"

"Now you sound like a business job."

"I'm the staff controller and my job is to make sure that you guys are comfortable with your work."

"Well then, nope, I have none. Except that one guy in the staff room who's always switching my coffee with his vodka mug, while I was still holding it. And who even drink vodka from a mug?!"

"Who the fuck let him bring vodka into the office, I thought Nanaba's supposed to be watching out for that." Levi frowned at Petra's shrug. "Last time this happened she let a kid sneak bear into the classroom, next thing we knew they were having a minimized version of a strip club on the roof."

"Woah Christ." Petra was not even amused to be honest, she had been through most high schools, this wasn't new, but the fact that someone dared to recreate a strip club on Principal Pixis's favorite place of the school as known in the current situation as The Rooftop. "What happened to those kids?"

"Detention and social working, parents came storming in demanding Nanaba to be fired. She survived that one well."

"That's harsh. I love Nana to death but you should really consider getting someone else in this."

"No shit. But Erwin's an ass, a lazy one at that."

They went on with conversations but every single one has a small gap of silence between because the two seemed to forget all about their food while talking to each other. They spent a few minutes focusing on the meal which was pretty delicious to waste and thought of a thing to talk about like new friends do.

"How did you get this job in the first place?" It was Petra's turn to ask.

"I was doing a part of an investigation but I was a bit too tired of it so I quitted and that's when Erwin got me."
"Cool, what kind of investigation?"

"Stuff." Levi simply shrugged. What Petra didn't know was she almost discovered something too dark for a beginning of a friendship. But Levi was smart enough to drive the conversation to another theme.

"So tell me, have you ever in a relationship?" He asked, raising an eyebrow of curiosity.

"Oh, I am. I'm still now though. His name is Flagon." Petra said. "And you?"

"Too. I dated a girl named Jessica when I was about twenty. But she was a bitch so..." He bit his lips at the the end, remembering a time of innocent Levi Ackerman who smiled so much than now and thought he was so lucky to fall in love with a pretty blonde with blue eyes and had a perfect relationship and stated that nothing could come between him and her. That's just until Jessica priorly slept with a bunch of men and told innocent Levi that she was so tired of him and dumbed him right on his birthday. Bitch.

"That's too bad. She should have saw that she was lucky to have you and you're a pretty amazing person." Petra frowned. "Flagon is cool too but he parties too much and he was like totally forget about me. I called him that I was so happy when I got the job last few weeks and he was like 'Oh, okay, good for you then'. He's like ignoring me and replace me with parties and his friends and clubs. I respect him so I didn't say anything about it. I don't even know have he slept with any girls then."

"Well he's a total dumbass if he can't see that he's lucky to have you and you're such an amazing person."
Petra's cheeks crept out a light shade of pink as she laughed at the mocking line Levi just said. "Nonsense!" She punched him on the shoulder, which wasn't even painful but it made him find himself chuckling as well. They finished the meal and payed the bills then walked back to their school together.

The rest of the path was full of joking, teasing and laughs with chuckles. The chitchats were too interesting for them to realize that they was at the front of the school building in like about two seconds. And although they both have traumatic events in life and still have something that haunted and bothered them in present but they still had such feelings that somehow they still have each other to pass all of those thing.
