The woman faerie who was sat at the throne in the center of the room was little. She had small legs that were crossed and little arms that were folded. Behind her back, sticking out from the side of the throne, were bright gold wings with blue sparkling tips. Her face was really bright, but also old looking. There were wrinkles on her forehead and lines under her eyes. Also, her lips were very tight and small, as if she never smiled. As we walked closer to her, her small dark pupils followed us as if she was possesed by something. She didn't even blink once.

"Someone unchain my daughter this once!!" She said with hatred to the guards. As one of them went over to unchain Lysabelle, he tripped up and fell over. The woman in the chair looked at him with rage. She just stared at him. Her eyes then started to get clearer and then suddenly became bright white. "No ma'am ple..." The guard couldn't save himself quickly enough. He suddenly became a block of ice and then just shattered. "Someone clean this fool up at once and unchain my daughter!! Idiots!!" One of the guards quickly unchained Lysabelle and then ordered two other guards to sweep up the slowly melting shards of ice. I could finally see why Lysabelle was so scared. I knew what kind of woman I was dealing with. "My name is Syrena Nyfalia. I want your name, your business here and why you were found with my daughter".

I just looked at her in astonishment. I didn't know what to say. This was all happening to quickly "erm...well...I am..." "Out with it demon!!" The queen shouted in rage. Her eyes were white, again I just stood there still, unable to move or say anything. Then suddenly she gave me a look of pure hatred then I felt a chill all over my body. For a second, time seemed to stand still, then my body reacted and I felt hot again, back to normal. The queens eyes turned dark again. "What is this?? Why didn't you freeze up!!" She looked genuinely suprised and horrified. I laughed. It suddenly dawned on me. "You can't touch me you stupid woman, Im a demon, none of you can hurt me". She looked at me, lost for words. The whole room stopped and stared at her. She was clearly humiliated. She looked at Lysabelle. "Up to your room, we need to deal with this alone". "No mother, you won't touch him!!" She looked horrified at having to leave me alone with her mother. "Go now, to your room. You are free, be thankful for that!!" "You bitch!! Surukhai, please don't take him from me!!" The queen waved at some guards and they dragged Lysabelle off, screaming.

"Good, now we are alone, we can finally talk business. I want your name." I was more confident because I knew she couldn't hurt me. "My name is Surukhai, I am son of Hurutik, Grandson of Lucifer...I am part of the most powerful blood line known to all realms." She looked scared. "Well we are the most protected people, protected from the Gods themselves, you can't be saved here boy." I laughed. "Haha, well why don't you pray to those Gods, because you are going to need every bit of protection once my father knows that I am here." "And how would he find out??" That I couldn't answer, but if Lysabelle is as rebellious as she puts out, then I'm sure she will help. "Just as I thought, he won't have any idea you are here. So, child, why were you in the realm of Earth, with my daughter??" "Well, I wanted to leave my realm, to get away. Just like Lysabelle." She got up off her throne with a rage and walked over to me. "YOU ARE NOTHING LIKE MY DAUGHTER, NEVER COMPARE YOUR LIFE TO HER'S, YOU HEAR ME??!!". I smiled at how much I annoyed her. Her eyes shone white again but returned to normal when she realised it would have no effect on me.

She looked hopeless. She knew she couldn't touch me. My race had evolved since the last time our two races met. We had become more powerful and she knew that. After a long pause and clearly a lot of thinking, a smile flickered across her face. She looked at the guards. "Take him to the dungeon. Don't feed him or give him water at all for seven days. On the eighth day, take him out and show him to the 'drainers'. His body should be weak enough by then to drain his powers and then his blood. Oh and parade him around town first. I want to show the people our first catch in centuries."

I was pulled by the chain around my neck. As I walked past one of the windows I caught a big flash of red light in the distnace and a small figure being sucked down by it. A small figure with black wings....
