".....Ryder" Margo looked up at me with an apologetic look. I glanced over at her and handed her the cards. "I'm just gonna go.....for a walk" I whispered, walking off, into the trees.

I didn't get very far before my head started hurting. I ignored it, continuing to walk deeper into the woods. That's when I heard barking off in the distance. I sighed and slumped against a tree, deep in thoughts. At this point I didn't know what was happening anymore. Here I was taken away from James, the twins and Grover and put in a place I didn't know the name of, sadly.

I was so deep in thought about what was happening I didn't realize the purple aura that had suddenly lit up the now dark forest. I looked around, trying to see where it was coming from. With no signs, I stood and looked straight ahead. What I didn't expect was to see someone, or something, to be staring back at me.

The woman stepped into the clearing. Upon looking at her, my knees became Jell-O. She radiated so much power. I honestly wasn't sure what to do. She looked so familiar, I just couldn't remember where from. "Elliot" She nodded in my direction. "Um...." Is how I responded. "It's a shock to see how much you've grown. I can't tell if you look more like me or your father." She reached out with a deathly pale hand and stroked my cheekbone. Her touch was cold. So cold I lost my train of thought. Then it hit me 'Me or your father' I stared at the breathtakingly beautiful woman. "Mom" I gasped. My mother smiled, "Yes, my child. But now isn't the time for introductions. I'm here warn you of the evil that's been unleashed." I stared at her. "Evil....?" I whispered. Mom nodded, "More information is soon to come but for now, you must stay put. Here, in camp...." I frowned, "But, I don't even know where 'here' is. I have no idea what's going on, where my sisters and best friend are, or even who you are"

My mother nodded, as if she understood. "Time will answer all of your questions, Child"

And like that, she was gone.

"Ryder?" I heard someone call my name. Their voice sounded millions of miles away. I looked down at where my mother was just standing to see a small, leather journal with a symbol on the cover that almost looked like two torches. I knelt, picking it up and sliding it in my back pocket. "Elliot!?" Called another voice. "Over here" I said, barely loud enough for myself to hear.

I heard footsteps coming towards me. Even though it was dark I could tell it was Margo, the other one I wasn't sure of. I heard the click and a light shined in my face. "Ow, whoa, watch where you're shining that!" I placed my hand over the face of the flashlight. "Sorry" Said Margo, facing the light towards the ground. I looked to the person who had accompanied Margo. She was beautiful. Like....goddess beautiful....

She had American Indian features with mahogany colored hair set in a side braid. Her eyes were almost as distracting as Margo's, they were as if I were to be looking into a kaleidoscope that  changed from brown, to blue, to green, and back to brown over and over again.

She must have noticed I was staring because she cleared her throat, "We....better get back to camp before people start to worry" She said. "Mhm" Margo rolled her eyes, "And so you get a chance to kiss Jason before he leaves tomorrow" She taunted. "Aw, shush, Marge!" The girl playfully shoved Margo. "No way, McLean" Margo shook her head as 'McLean' rolled her eyes, walking off.

Margo and I stood there awkwardly as a few minutes passed. "We....should go" Margo sighed, looking to her feet, that's a tendency she had done quite often, from the moment I saw her....
