Taken Away

Ace's P.O.V.

I let out a sigh, having patched up the last person I had to help. Many were injured. Luckily the casualties weren't high. Yet just one death is worth a million. It still hurts.
I got up and then there was a tap on my shoulder. Turning around I saw it was Suga. I smiled at him,
"Hey, how's it going?" I greeted him. He chuckled and had cracked a smile himself.
"I should be asking you that."
"Nah. You are the leader. I am just the supporter. So everything fine."
"Haha. Yea."
"How is the mansion?"
"It's going well with the repairs and there are still a high level of our guards there."
"Guards? What?"
"I know Akira told me not to tell you but I trust you Ace. I am guarding the last orb that Grey needs for him to regain his full power."
"What?! Suga. That is very important infor..."
"I am well aware. But trust me to why I am telling you that."
"Alright." I said. There was a long moment of silence between us until Suga started talking again,
"Ah. You can go back now. I've been having you help out and I'm sorry about that. You need to spend some time with your little girl. Haha."
"Thanks. See you later."
"Yea. Ja'ne!" Suga said with a grin, waving goodbye as I walked out. There, I saw Romano walk in with Clementine in his arms.
I smiled and then took Clem. I was bouncing her, adoring her. She laughed and clung to me, slowly dozing off.
"She missed you." Romano said.
"Awww. Is that right Clem?" I asked her with a smile. She giggled in response and I leaned down, kissing her forehead. Now letting her sleep.
"Lets go." Romano said, leading me back to the mansion.
Repaires were going on yet I was part of the people who wanted to stay in the mansion. Romano was there too to help lead me back and babysit Clem while I was working.
"Hey. Ace." Romano said.
"Hm?" I looked up at him from while I was playing with Clementine and asked,
"What?"
"Do you think she is ok?" He asked. I didn't have ask who he was talking about. My face softened and I looked back down at Clem who was playing with my coat.
"She is. I know she is." I said with a soft smile. Romano merely nodded and opened my bedroom door for me. I entered my room and before I could say anything, Romano left.
Rocking Clementine I sat down in my desk chair. I held her close to me, petting her head and smiled. She looked up at me and beamed, showing that her teeth were coming in.
I kissed her forehead and she curled up closer to me, dozing off. I then whispered to her,
"I'm never going to let go."

Once Clem was asleep I put her in her crib and turned back towards my desk and placed my head down, deep in thought. Wondering how Olivia actually be saved. Where she could be. I have to save her.
There was a soft knock on the door and I got up.
"Hallo? Hm? Suga? What is it?
"Hey. Do me a favor."
"Sure. What is it." I said with a smile. Suga smiled back and then hugged me. I was about to ask him what was the matter but he then whispered in my ear,
"We found her. But don't go off on your own and keep this secret." He then pulled away and said in his Usual happy go lucky voice,
"I just wanted to give a hug to one of my many hard workers. Sorry for the interruption. Night~"
And with that he was gone. I went back inside my room and then felt something on my neck. I grabbed what it was and I saw it was a piece of paper with a address on it.
"Olivia." Is all that I Managed before I ran out the door.
"Huh? Ace what are you doi...." Kylee started when I ran past her but I ended up cutting her off as I yelled,
"Watch Clem for me! I am going to pick her mum up!" I didn't get to hear what Kylee said for I soon turned a corner to one of the stairwells. I slid down the railing, passing maids and butlers yet I ignored their questions with only one objective in mind.
But of course I didn't get far for I found myself in a place in the mansion that I did not recognize.
"Uuuum. Where am I?" I thought as I looked around the unfamiliar setting. I walked down the hall way and then found a stair case leading downwards to who knows where.
    It was darker and colder, seeing that only torches were lit at the walls became stone. There, there was a giant metal door that was locked and chained. About to go back I then noticed something. The lock was unlocked.
   I then went in and then entered the strange stone room. Lit with torches and had passages that were locked. I looked around and then saw something was in the middle.
I walked over and then looked down through the holes in the ground at the center and saw a locked box that was glowing. I was baffled and then realized what this must be. I stepped away, stumbling a bit. It must be....
"Haha. Welcome Ace." I heard a deep & cold voice say. I turned and saw Grey slamming the heavy doors shut.
   "You. What do you want?!"
   "Tsk tsk tsk. You should be smart enough to know that Ace. I came to get back what was is rightfully mine." Grey said, pointing towards the hole that was in the center. Clenching my fists I glared at him.
    "Well I am very sorry but~ that is not for you to take." I said cheerfully with a smile. Laughing when I saw the irritation on his face.
   "Now that is established move along." I said shooing him away smiling still.
   "Haaaa. You really are a...pain!" He said, pulling out a sword lashing out at me. Jumping back in time I drew my sword and got into position.
   "Heh. I see you want a little fun. Fine by me." Smiling a lunged out at him, our swords clashing preventing us from  landing blow on each other.
    I jumped back and landed on a pillar to end up pushing off again at him at speed and had our swords clash as he was pushed back a bit. Sparks coming from our swords. He then slid his sword up trying to send mine flying but I held on tight and pushed up, kicking him in the face causing me to fly back and land on my feet.
     Anger was on his face as I saw I broke his nose. Laughing I stood up straight and was beaming a hand on my hip as I watched him stumble to soon regain his balance.
    "I HAVE NO MORE TIME TO WASTE! BRING HER OUT!" Grey yelled. I raised a eyebrow. Her? And then I saw that her. Clementine! Two of Grey's henchmen was holding Clenentine while the other was holding a limp and bloody Romano. I felt sick as I called out to my crying and scared daughter.
   "Clemen..." Just then I heard a rumbling sound and screams coming from above.
    "Haha. It looks like that Ginta guy is pulling through."
    "What?!"
   "Haha. Look." Grey said displaying the battle scene happening above. My friends were fighting Ginta's gang and I even saw Suga going one on one with Ginta. I felt anger boiling up in me for I know that they are not ready to fight.
     "You bastard! They were already weak! Now you just want them dead?!"
   "Hahahahaha. I can care less about whether they live or die. That is up to Ginta. Who I merely told him to do whatever he sees fit in stalling them from interrupting my plans. But I am amused. You have grown ever so soft to these people. When I first had you sent here you were merely to act like you were on their side and work behind the scenes. But it seems this act was too good it became your reality. What a shame."   
     "SHUT UP! I AM NO LONGER UNDER YOUR CONTROL! I AM MY OWN PERSON NOW SO LEAVE US ALONE AND GIVE BACK MY DAUGHTER!"
    "Put down your sword." Grey said.  
   "Tch." I sheathed my sword and then put my hands behind my head.  
    "Put her down now."
   "Um~ No." 
   "Wha...?!" Just then I felt something hard hit against the back of my head. I fell due to the pain, my vision becoming a blur as I struggled to keep consciousness. I then saw another me walk from behind and into me view.
    "Ace. This is Ace. The one that will soon replace you."
   "Wha...?" Was all I could manage as I watched the other me use his own sword and break the hole in the ground, picking up the shining box and walking over to the to Grey and handing it to him. He beamed from ear to ear and I felt a hatred that I have never felt before.
    "We got the box and the child. Let's go now. Let's bring the original Ace." Grey said. Just as some of Grey's henchmen were coming to get me a rain of sharp black things came at a high speed came down impailing & killing all the henchmen in the room.
    I don't know what happened after that. For I saw the other me holding Clementine and Grey disappear in the shadows while henchmen we falling one at time being impailed by the knife like black things shooting in the dozens. Just before I let go, all I saw then were just black feathers falling around in front of me as I was soon became shrouded with black.
