Promise Me.

Promise?

You promised me, remember? You said that you'd grant my wish. So, this is my wish. I want you to let me go.

The sun had only just begun to set, the sky along with it turning orange and pink, Levi and I had sat together on a window sill by my hospital bed.

"Seriously," Levi asked, bringing his knees up to his chest. "You're going to make a thousand paper cranes?"

"Well..." I trailed off, staring down at the half finished red paper crane in my hand. "Yeah," I shrugged.

"What do you want to wish for anyway?" He asked.

"Can't tell," I smile softly, looking up into his soft grey eyes. "...Or it won't come true."

Levi sighed heavily and hung one of his legs off of the side of the seat by the window, he then scooted closer to me, placing his hand on my knee. "What will you do if your wish doesn't come true?" he asked sadly.

I stop for a moment, tears brimming in my eyes at the possibility of my wish not coming true. "I—I... don't know."

"You know, if your thousand paper crane wish or whatever doesn't work..." he said, bringing his hand up and cupping my cheek, looking into my eyes as he spoke. "You could always wish on me, Eren, because I'd do anything for you."

"Promise?"

Levi smiled, leaning forward to place a gently kiss against my lips. "I promise."
