Sorry guys to those who could not access "Disgusted" because it wasn't a chapter it was just a mistake. But here is a quick one I Whipped up :) xx

Apparently staring at someone long enough would get their attention. But it wasn't really working, I glared at Darius this time. Maybe glares worked better than just staring.

This meeting was incredibly boring, did he really have to stay here. Of course the one day we decide to go somewhere he gets a phone call about some important seminar he needs to attend, so half way to our hike we planned, we were going back to this "quick" seminar, that was now thirty minutes over-time.

I tapped my pen grabbing another free mint from the cup and popping it into my mouth, I was sitting on the far side away from them all, but close enough to hear a lot of jargon I didn't even understand. I tapped my fingers on the table, my head leaning against my hand staring at him.

And this time he did look up.

And my heart flipped when I met his bright green eyes and he gave me a smile.

Act cool Ivory, act cool.

I gave him a peace symbol with my fingers.

Totally cool.

Not that it matted since he was my husband after all, but somehow I still had my awkward moments around him, and somehow when his deep green eyes met mine, my heart would still do a somersault. I reached for another mint the same time the guy finished talking and I sat up, yes, we were finally done.

Nope, another guy got up. I silently groaned and reached for that mint might as well eat all of these, payment for sitting here bored, thank god I didn't stay downstairs in the car, I would have melted in this thirty degree heat.

I shifted on the chair stretching into a more comfortable spot and popping the countless number of mint into my mouth and chewing. At least they killed time. But why were the mints so hard?

But then again this room was somewhat air conditioned, and I really wasn't that keen on this "hike" he wanted to do, it was bloody spring, I was going to sweat into a puddle.

My phone buzzed on the table and I looked over to it frowning at the overly neglected piece and sighed, it was so far away, but so close.

I stopped leaning on my hand and half on the table and picked it up looking up when I saw who it was from, Darius?

He, of course, was nonchalant staring at the speaker, I opened the message.

Having fun there?

I bit my lip from smiling and looked up, nope, he was still staring at the speaker, and typed a reply.

They're running out of mints.

Because that was obviously one of the most entertaining things right now, me chewing away these terrible mints, they were a bit like horrible jelly beans, at how hard they were and made your jaw hurt but you just couldn't stop eating them. A bit like a obsessive habit, I just had to empty the damn bowl.

My phone buzzed again and this time I didn't hesitate to grab it.

That's no good.

I paused and looked up at him, and wanted to somewhat throw my phone at him. That's no good? That's no good?

That's all he had to say. I rolled my eyes leaning back on my hand that was leaning on the table, sometimes Darius was just so awkward. Worse than me.
