Letters in text,
make up words,
words next,
make up sentences.
Sometimes words hurt,
like the anagram: sword,
at others, they heal,
like a remedy to an injury.
Words are precious,
words are powerful,
words' worth,
like Wordsworth.
Words,
heard or spoken,
are of human life,
a token.
For we feel the weight,
of words, spoken or heard,
and regret those,
unspoken, unheard.
