Nothing holds me back from texting Ailaina. Though we haven't quite spoken for days - weeks, even - this is something I she can't go not knowing. Words cannot explain how I am feeling right now. I don't even know how to begin. All I can say is that I'm scared for my life.
My fingers tremble as I unlock my phone and open up my Messages app. Ailaina is going be worse than heartbroken once she hears the terrible news. I have to type quick; who knows when Luke's going to act upon it?
Me: He loves you

Me: He loves you so much and I fucked up so bad and I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm sorry
Lains: Calum???
Me: Luke's in trouble
Me: I'm coming over right now
Me: You need to call him and tell him not to do it
Lains: Do what?
Lains: Calum???
Me: I'll explain everything later, I promise
Me: Just please, you gotta stop him
I shove my phone into my pocket and grab my keys and my coat and head towards the door.
"I'm going to 'Laina's!" I shout to no one in particular as I head out the front door.
I don't know how I could've messed up so bad, but I regret absolutely everything.
