Ode to secrets Chapter 3

when we talk,
it lasts forever.
your eyes love,
my lips cry.
my stomach drops,
when your hands move
your heart beats loud,
only I can hear.
they leave,
and our lips touch.
when we kiss,
we disappear.
hands moving,
and I can't stop.
my hair in your face,
you don't care.
you move it,
and we continue.
when I'm on top of you,
I feel afraid of heights.
I know I'm falling.
I'm falling hard.
only you will catch me.
and when our faces are close,
we smile and with the
touch of your lips on mine,
you tell it will be okay.
you tell me it's worth it.
you tell me to not worry.

we didn't watch that movie.
we didn't need to.
the way you held me,
kept me together.
together.
only us.
under that blanket.
it was getting hot.
your shirt was off.
my shirt riding up.
messy hair.
unmade bed.
you're my secret.
I laugh a little.
we are actually doing this.
your hair is my day.
your voice is my night.
I'm tired and it's late.
but I can't stop.
I'm scared to say goodbye.
we will say hi in the halls,
and fight every urge to just touch.
but you're my secret,
that I'll forever.
