Prologue

Kara's P.O.V

All I can hear is my own heart pounding in my chest. Colors pass me by as I skid to a stop in front of a cargo ship. Should I get in or not? I hop in right when the ship takes off. Laughing, I make faces at the officers as they try to get the ship to land. They're to late. I've already gone into the atmosphere. Goodbye Namibia. See you when the world blows up."Is this what Stel would have wanted?" Asked the tiny voice in my head. "Shut up." I said. Finally breaking the silence of the ship. All I can think about is him now. "Stop it Kara. Just shut up and think. Where is this ship going?" I take a chance and look at the control console. It looks like a standered F29 cruiser control board. Crap. Its going there.
In big black letters sat one word.

SALINATI.

Lara's P.O.V.

"Watch out!" Cried a merchant as I flood the stalls. "Ha ha! You cant catch me!" I screamed as I filled my bag with fruit and bread. "Come on Sophie!" I cried as a baby piranha swam up to me. "Which way should we go now Sophie?" Blurble Blur " So to that ship?" Blur! "Ok." "Stop right there thief!" shouted the police. I turned and saw a girl running towards the same ship. She doesn't see me. Yet. I turn, running to the ship. I hop in a few seconds before she does. I watch as she makes faces at the officers as they try to make the ship land. She turns as I duck behind some cargo. What is she saying? "Shut up." she says. Finally breaking the silence. "Stop it Kara. Just shut up and think. Where is this ship going?" She turns and looks at the sign. It says SALINATI. I haven't been there yet. I can't wait. CREEEEEK goes the floor as i shift position. Her head snaps up. She stares right at me. " Its ok. Its just me." I say walking out with my hands above my head.
