Lost

The Nightmare

     Morticia's eyes fluttered open, finally morning had arrived! She looked to her left to hopefully find her sleeping husband as always. But this morning was different Gomez was nowhere to be found! Morticia sat up in puzzlement.
     "Gomez?!" She faintly called "Gomez? Gomez! Darling!" Her husband rushed to the doorway in a heartbeat!
"Carda! What is it? My love my sweetness?" He exclaimed rushing beside his wife. Morticia then looked into her husband's soft brown eyes and begin to cry. Gomez took her hand in concern. "What is it?" He asked her calmly.
"Gomez I had another nightmare..." Morticia exclaimed through sobs. Gomez rubbed his wife's back in sympathy.
"Go on..." He stated trying to have his darling let it out.
"I thought you left me!" Morticia said crying harder.
"Why would I ever leave you?" Gomez responded quietly calming Morticia. "You're absolutely perfect in every aspect darling!" Morticia nodded flattered about what her husband was saying.
"Thank you..." She stated. Gomez then pushed his lips into hers for what seemed like an eternity. But then the couple needed to leave for breakfast.

Breakfast Table

    "Mother will you pass the cobwebs? Now!" Wensday asked at the table. "Mother?" No reply Wensday gave her mother a weird look before getting the cobwebs herself.
     "Father?" Pugsley asked now also staring at Morticia.
     "It's alright children she's probably just in those lovely thoughts of hers." Gomez said sounding fake with reassurance. Then he tried to get Morticia out of her trance.
     "Darling?" He asked "Tish it's alright! We can talk about what happened this morning but not with the children listening."
     That did it! Morticia's eyes made a small blink and then she nodded to her wonderful husband.

     After a very quiet breakfast Gomez took his wife calmly by hand and lead her to the office for conversation. When they arrived he placed Tish on his desk and put both hands on her cheeks.
     "Tish please banish the fear from you're eyes! I will never leave you!"
     "Oh Gomez!" Morticia finally spoke. "I know..... I just can't help it! My mind tells me things... It tells me my world will be lost! That it will crumble at my feet and Gomez I'm not ready!"
     These words made Morticia start to sob once more. At this Gomez held her as tight as possible.
     " If the world crumbles my darling we will be there together to witness the misery." Morticia smiled as her tears dried on her cheeks. Gomez helped his wife of the desk then he patted her back and they walked out together.
     "What will you be doing today darling?" Morticia then asked. Gomez put a finger to her chin before giving bad news.
     "I do have a meeting darling but the Binakees are coming over so you can have something to do!"
     "Gomez you don't work?" Morticia questioned.
     "Right!" Gomez answered.
     "And you're going to meeting?"
     "Right!"
      "So would that mean you're cheating on me!" Morticia shrieked as Gomez showed her a picture of a woman.
     "Right!"
     "What!" Morticia boomed taking her hands from him.
     "What! No no! That's not what I meant!" Gomez exclaimed hoping his wife was in a forgiving mood.
     "If you're not then tell me!"
      "Tell you what?"
     "Who is she!?"
