My mistake

Did you ever hear about the worlds left far behind? Those planets no one ever saw but always knew were there? Well I live on one of those very same planets, though we are so far apart there could be nothing so close.

I live on a planet far far away in our own solar system with our own sun's own moons and stars. Flames here are much like the stars different from earth where blue flames are the coolest and red hottest wheres for the stars and at least my planet it is the other way around where red is the coolest and blue hottest.

Strangely most on our planet which is called aquaris (Ack-war-es) speak the earth language English which our planet's call Blue speek. You see even though we dress similar and talk similar we are different, as our planets are different colors and where earth has a many languages, planets only have 1 langage each. Anyway, I live on the Blue planet or Aqualanta.

I sat on the floor of my room I was only 7 I was dressed in my usual flowy dress for I was the princess of Blue. My breakfast dishes were on the bed and I was just waiting for the nurse to come tell me my friends have arrived. List is my best freind even if she is always getting in trouble. She says it's because she's an orphan but I don't believe it.

" Mistress." Nurse called. I looked up to see List running in, she wore comfy looking jeans and a warm flannel shirt." Here's your freind." List my freind, looked at me then scrunched her nose.

" I'm not changing. I have to be a princess for mommy and daddy." I said I also hoped wearing a nice dress would keep us out of trouble but I highly doubt it she didn't care about clothes she only cared about fun and getting her next meal.

" Fine lets go then." She said. We passed my father and my mother. I glared at my father he may have been kind but he was still an enemy. My mother had been betrothed to him and on their wedding day after they said I do a war started to break out. My father was from the Red planet they are called the Digenes (Deeg-'n-s) it was thought that after the betrothal would keep peace between both kingdoms, they were wrong.

They didn't notice me, or List we were out the door within minutes. we were relaxing by the lake when I looked thru the bushes, we weren't supposed to be here for multiple reasons 1 being this was natural war zone. There by the water, however, was a group of Digenes' people. I wanted to sneak closer but List grabbed my arm. I looked back, she shook her head and pointed to herself meaning it was to dangerous and that she was the less valuable one.

I shook my arm and it became a game, when I finally got away from her I ran down to the water side ready to fling List into the cool waters. But instead I was grabbed. Rough hands grabbed my arms around my biceps. I screamed List's name looking back.

I wanted to see List either run for help or come with a stick or something instead she was being held back by my father his sneer directed towards me List screamed to me. I was afraid she kept telling me it was okay and she would find me. I knew she would it could take her years and she would not stop until I was found and placed into her arms.
