The lights were blaring in my eyes as I walked onto the stage. This was my 1st time auditioning for the British X-factor and to be honest I was really nervous.

"What's your name?" asked Simon Cowell

"Sarah Baker" I replied

"Where are you from Sarah?" asked Louis Walsh

"Bristol"

"What will you be singing for us?" asked Cheryl Cole

" Jar of hearts by Christina Perri" I replied. I had spent hours rehearsing this song at home.

"Take it away" Simon said.

I sang my heart and left it all on the stage. Now it was time for the judging.

"I thought it was amazing it was a little pitchy but that is something we can work on so it's yes from me" Simon said

" and I totally agree with Simon so it's a yes from me too" Cheryl agreed

" I thought it was great so that means that you got 3 yes's" Louis said

I started freaking out, then thanked all the judges and ran off stage crying tears of joy to go see my parents

" that was amazing honey" my mum said

"Absolutely brilliant" exclaimed my dad and then they both gave me giant bear hugs and we walked towards the car.
