Addi's POV

The bell rang loudly above my right ear causing me to cringe back. 'Finally's' and 'at last's' passed around the room and my whole 7th period class attacked the exit.

Before I could conform with everyone else and leave, Mr. Aaron's called for me.

"Addi could I talk to you for a second."

I gulped and ran through everything I could have screwed up on in this class. Well there were a few quizzes and tests that I knew I didn't do too well on in this class. This is his first time calling me after class.

Mr. Aaron's was 23 and was rather handsome. Fresh out of college and new to the highschool teaching enviroment. He had dark brown hair and captivating hazal obisks for eyes.

I waited for the room to evacuate and then came forward to his desk nervously.

"Yes, Mr. Aaron's?"

"I wanted to talk to you about your ILA grade.. You do realize that you're failing this class right?"

"What? No! I've been studying really hard! Ask my parents, they'll say the same thing! I just don't get it." I protested, exasperated that I was failing. I really was trying so hard. It just didn't click in my head.

Mr. Aaron's gave me a concerned look. "I don't see how you could be failing if you were really studying as hard as you say you are. I looked at your file and you don't have any destractions- as in extra curricular activities- unless something is going on at home that is destracting you, then your grades really shouldn't be suffering so much."

"NO! .. no. There is nothing going on at home." I just feel really alone and worthless.

"Do you think you could consider getting a tutor?"

"Oh, um.. I'll think about  it."

"Maybe ask one of your sisters or even your brother; they all have top of the class grades right now."

I sighed. Of course they would be getting perfect grades. They were all pretty much perfect in gereral.

"Yeah. Ok, well I have to get home."

He gave me a crooked half smile and a small wave.

I turned and found my way to exit of the school. I looked around the parking lot and noticed only a few cars.

I started walking across the parking lot to my car that was sitting alone in the last parking lane.

As I was half way across the parking lot I felt a hard impact on my side and bright light until I slammed to the ground a few feet away on my back.

I screamed in pain.

You know how in the movies the people who get hit by cars or at least severely hurt, they pass out? Yeah?  Well, whenever I get hurt, I stay awake and endure all the pain. Of course this would only happen to me.

I felt tears dripping down a steamy trail along my cheeks and  I felt myself starting to hyperventilate. I starting counting my heartbeats to calm down, but it was all becoming too much. I tried to move and I was welcomed with searing pain in my brain.

"Oh my god! I didn't even see you. God are you okay?" A masculine voice pierced through my hyperventilating state. Hey that voice sounds vaguely familiar.

"Okay, okay. Calm down. I'm going to take you to the hospital." Who the bloody hell does this dude think he is? Calm down?! I just got hit by a car! I have every right to be freaking out right now! Oh god by flipping brain is killing me. Gosh, when I'm up again I am going to throw a lamp at him! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Okay, too much brain power.
