I wrote this when I was, like, 12 so give me a break kiddos.
___I brush my hair back from my face, tucking it behind my ear as I giggled softly at the book I am currently reading.
"Madeline!" I look up, my hair once again blocking my view. I tuck it behind my ears and watch Sophie jog up to me. "You ready? C'mon." She grabbed my hand and pulled me up. I swiftly grab my bag and stuff my books in before following her to her car.
"Our first day at a new school! Exciting, right? I hope so, I mean. Like. I really do hope there are some cute boys, you know?" Sophie rambled.
I sighed and picked at my plain, white top. I shifted in the passenger seat. "I hope this school is different than the last."
She put her hand on mine. "Babe, look. I still don't get why you hated our last school so much? It was pretty cool."
"I hated how many field trips we went on." I shied away from her touch. "You were rarely on the ones that I had to go to, so I had to stand in the back corner and watch, or stay with the teacher."
"You should have made friends, Addie. I definitely need to help you make friends this year, and not the kinds who used you for homework." She mock gasped as I lightly reached over the console and pushed her. "I'm driving, Addie! Have some decency!"
----
"Holy freaking-"
"I know.." We both looked at the school in awe.
It was huge, to say the least.
"We are so going to get lost in it." Sophie laughed.
"Do you think that we could stick together?" I looked up at her in curiosity, pulling at my cardigan.
"I wish. But we would probably have to have the same classes." She stated. I nodded in agreement. With a school this big, you never know how long it could take to get to one class from the other.
Everyone was stood outside of the building waiting for the school doors to be opened.
"How long is this going to take! My hair is poofing up!" Sophie yelled. I gasped at her and then started to giggle.
"You're crazy."
"Do you still have the schedule for the school? The one where it says when lunch is and when the goddamn school doors open!" She yelled the last part.
"I do. Let me get it out of my bag.." I mumbled as I pulled out one of my folders. Sophie elbowed me, but I ignored her. She repeated the action frantically.
I looked at her with furrowed eyebrows. "What's wrong?"
"L-l-look. Look. Oh, my God. Oh my God. Addie. The most gorgeous man I have ever seen just stepped foot in the parking lot. He parked two cars down from our car. Two!"
I followed her gaze to the parking lot, rolling my eyes at her. Sophie always exaggerates when it comes to these type of situations. That was when I saw him. He was stood infront of a sleek, black car, crossing his arms as he gazed at the school. He had a smirk on his face, watching as the girls swooned over him. His hair was curly, pushed back in a quiff. He had plump, pink lips. I watched him lick them before biting the bottom one. His eyes were covered in sunglasses, and his jawline was sharp. He had on a black T-shirt with tight, black jeans, black boots covering his feet. I could see tattoos on his arms, many tattoos. My parents would never let me go close to a man like that. He screamed 'danger', along with the four men stood behind him.
I looked away, a blush on my cheekbones. I didn't want to judge him by first sight, I was never one to do that, so I kept my thoughts settled. "He seems.. Bad." I whispered.
