Hannah hit the alarm before it could reach the fourth beep...
She rolled over on her back and squinted, due to the California sun peaking through the window in Grace's bedroom. Hannah rubbed her tired eyes enough to where she could focus on the clock that read 7:14. Hannah shifted her head to see Grace lying next to her fast asleep with a sun beam in her hair and some drool on her pillow and she smiled and thought to her self [She is the most beautiful woman in the world.]
Hannah got her phone and opened to her CNN news app that read [CNN mobile report: Same sex marriage finally legal in all states].She uncontrollably smiled, probably because now if she every wanted to get married It would mean something she could be like everyone else who is married and in love. She unplugged her phone and sat up and scmoozed her hair out of her face. She wiped the drool off Grace's cheek and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead she got up and quickly showered, got dressed and cut up some fruit for grace to eat when she got up. She quietly walked into Grace's room to say good bye. "I have to go meet Pearl at the RV rental place, I'll be back around 2pm also there's fruit in the kitchen for you to eat, Love you babe." Hannah said softly near Grace's head and gave her quick kiss on the cheek so not to wake her too much. "Love you too." Grace said in a groggy mumbled tone which took Hannah a second to understand. Hannah had never felt so complete in a long time, staring at the wonderful funny and intelligent woman lying there blissfully asleep and all Hannah could think was [This is MY girlfriend...MINE and she loves me, damn I'm lucky.]
As Hannah was sitting in the ever so slow L.A traffic that morning she was going over her and Grace's relationship, it had been at least a year and it made her feel this kind of love that she had never felt before; she was truly and blissfully happy for the first time in her life. Just then a song came on the radio and she had forgotten the name and the artist but listening to it made her close her eyes and smile ♫the wait is over and love has finally showed her my way♫ and just like that a wave of excitement came over her as she said,"This is happening."
Around 10am Grace finally opened her eyes from her lifeless sleeping state and saw that Hannah was missing from her bed, confused for a second she remembered Hannah vaguely saying something about RV's and fruit...Thinking for a moment "Ah! pearl RV's fruit 2pm and love you" no longer confused Grace put some pants on and headed to the kitchen to let goose out to do her business, although she was thinking to her self, [Why didn't I have pants on in the first place?]See the night before Grace, Hannah and Mamrie went out to celebrate Mamrie getting a tv part and Grace couldn't remember anything past 11.
"Where's my phone? That should answer some questions"
Grace was scrolling threw all her pictures she would occasionally stop on pictures of her and Hannah non of them had been anywhere but her phone due to the fact that they were "girlfriend" type pictures such as kissing, cuddling and funny faces but grace stopped on one from last night "hmm I don't remember this one" grace looked at the picture of her and Hannah, Grace was asleep or passed out and Hannah was lying next to her smiling looking cute "Mamrie must have taken this one" cause both Hannah's hands were around Grace.
While eating her fruit her girlfriend had cut up for her she was going over how sweet and caring her girlfriend was and how Hannah made her feel. [She makes me feel like I'm on top of the world and no one can ever bring me down]. Grace quickly got dressed and showered and set up for her Dailygrace video.
"Hi! It Is Tuesday here on Dailygrace...."
*ring* *ring* *ri...*
"What up biotch!" Mamrie said happy to hear from her petite friend. "Hey Mamrie!" Hannah replied.
