Let the Games Begin! (Pt. 2)

____'s POV

"Go Beedrill!"
Ha, bad choice.
I grinned. "Go Ninetails!"
I shouted. This will be an easy match!

"Okay, let the battle commence!"

"Beedrill, use Poison Jab!"
"Beedrill!"
I moved my hand by my face and flicked my hair.
I know it sounds weird but my Ninetails knows what move to use when I do that.
"Ninetails~!" My Ninetails used flamethrower and 1 hit KO'ed his Beedrill before it landed a move on us.

"And the winner is Ninetails, which means the victory goes too, ____!" Everyone started cheering. I waved and Ninetails did get battle cry. But when I looked at one particular spot I saw, Gary smiling and giving me a thumbs up. I blushed at that. Has he changed over the past 6 years?

"And that concludes the first day of the Indigo Plateau! The first match tomorrow is at 11:00 am! Sleep well!"

I yawned. I was so tired after just sitting and doing nothing. At least I made it to the 2nd round right?
I was walking to the apartment that I was staying at and I went in, went to my room, got dressed into my pajamas and flopped on my bed.
I got my pokégear out and saw I had a message. It was from by best friend Blue.

Don't ask me how we became friends, we just did.

Text Message:

Blue: CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! YOU MADE IT TO THE SECOND ROUND!

I laughed. She could be so crazy at times. Or all the time...

Text Convo.:

Me: Hey, Blue and thanks. So how are you doing back at home?? I'm sure, Red is a big help ^-^.

5 seconds later..

Blue: SHUT UP! Red and I are just friends! But how are you and Gary? Making any progress?

Yup she figured out I liked Gary about 5 years ago. I didn't know how but she figured it out.

Me: No... I don't think he likes me... I hope he does though. But he was coming closer to me more than usual... I mean from 6 years ago. I think he's changed a lot! Plus he said he 'wanted to continue this moment' from earlier. What should I do?

Blue: TALK TO HIM! I bet he's gonna kiss you! Or admit his love for you! Or he's gonna ask you if you want to have sex with him! Or hand in marriage! EEK! Invite me to the wedding!

I blushed. Hard. I couldn't belive my eyes! They lost their virginity, kind of. But there is no way that's happening.

Me: NOOOOO! He's probably going to play a prank on me. Besides I'm going to bed. Goodnight.

I turned of my phone and went to bed.

I woke up and yawned. I'm super tired, I just want to go back to sleep. But I had to get up. I'm going to watch the other trainers just to see how they battle.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

More like, bang, bang, bang!
Who could be here? Also, they didn't have to knock so harshly. Doors have feeling too.
I opened my door and saw Blue! What's she doing here?!

"B-Blue?! What are you doing here?"
"Isn't it obvious? I'm here to cheer you on and help you get Gary! Now, is there another bed? Where is your lover boy?" I blushed.
He is not my lover boy!

"There is another bed. Also, Gary is probably sleeping or surrounded by his cheerleaders... He is not my lover boy!" I was so embarrassed right now. I'm glad no one heard that.

"Okay. Now lets go get you a boyfriend!" She shouted so loudly, I bet my neighbors could hear her.

"There he is! GARY!!" Blue shouted. She ran up to him, along with me being dragged. Literally.
Gary looked at us, well her since I was on the ground. "What do you want?" "Do you like anyone? Saaaaay, _____?" She smirked. When I finally got off the ground, I saw Gary looking at her weirdly and then when he spotted me, he blushed.
I thought it was so cute!

"U-umm, no. As a friend but nothing more." I felt my heart shatter but I hope he just said that because his cheerleaders are giving me and him glares, and also because Blue is here.

"I'll get it out of you sooner or later. Come on, ______. You got a match to win." Blue cheered.

Oh right the match! I quickly ran to where I was supposed to be and I waved to all the people out there.

"You're going down!" The girl shouted. "Lets see about that!"
