Another Dragon Mateing Season

chp 1

Lucy POV
Ugh, why do I have to get up again? Oh wait I remember i have to find a job today, wait what's that? I feel warm air and something fuzzy tickling my nose, I wack it away and find it comes back, I open my eyes and see its white puff ball, I move out of the way and flip over, but then I feel hot air on my face, I open my eyes again to see pink hair!!
"NATSU WHAT ARE YOU DOING" I scream as I shove him, he groans,
"Quit it Lucy," he grumbles and falls back asleep, I scramble out of bed, my face probably putting Erza's hair to shame. I fix my tank top so its covering everything, I sigh. I should be use to this by now, but its been happing a lot lately, I mean it's nice knowing that he'll always be there, but I got to say it would be nice if he put a real shirt on and told me he was there. So I guess that puff ball was Happy's tail, I shift the covers over them, making sure there warm. I grab my clothes for the day and decide to shower. I grab my iPod off the charger and go to the bathroom, I turn the music on and hop in the shower,

I sing to my favorite song, after taking a nice long warm shower I step out, dry off and get dressed, I walk out to find Natsu still asleep, which is strange. He's usual up by now, and I make us breakfast. strange, but I let him sleep, I go into the kitchen and start making breakfast, I hear a wing flap and I turn to see Happy standing on the counter,
"Morning" I smile at him,
"Morning" he mews tiredly, I smile
"Oh next time just let me know that your in my bed so I don't wake up with a fluff ball in my face" I say,
"Sorry, I told Natsu we should wake you, but he said to just let you sleep" he says defensively, I turn back to the pancakes with a light blush across my face,
"Oh" I say, thinking of nothing better to say. I finish the pancakes and give happy his food the I go to my bedroom and try to wake Natsu up,
"Natsu" I say, shaking his shoulder, he lets out a groan,
"Lucy stop" he moans,
"Come on Natsu I made pancakes" I say, he just groans
"are you ok?" I ask, usually at the word pancakes he's up and in the kitchen before I can blink, he lets out a groan, holding his sides,
"Natsu?" I say, he just groans, maybe he's sick?, I decide to let him sleep while I go to the store, I have a few errands go run before i get a job, I walk into the kitchen and put Natsu's pancakes in a baggie and throw them in the fridge. I sit at the table with Happy and eat quietly,
"Was Natsu not feeling well last night?" I ask Happy
"He said he was sore and that he had a headache, but other than that no" Happy says as he eats his pancakes, Happy is so cute,
"Ok well, I have to go to the store and get somethings, tell Natsu I went to the store of he wakes up ok" I say throwing our plates in the sink,
"Ok Lucy, what can I do till then" he mews sadly, the it hits me,
"OPEN GATE OF THE LITTLE DOG, NICOLAS" then my little snowman freind, Plue comes out with and explosion of snowflakes, I smile,
"Here Happy, I know you and Plue get along great so you guys can hang out" I smile, Plue hugs my legs then scampers off to play with Happy, I grab my purse and my keys, both my house key and my celestial keys, and I head out to the store, before I shut the door I look at Natsu's sleeping face one more time, I hope he's ok.

Levy POV
I wake up a little earlier than usual and decide to go to the guild library and get a new book. I roll out of bed and fix my hair, I can hear the other girls at Fairy hills walking up, I stretch and brush my hair, I grab a bagel and my bag and head out the door, as usual the other member of shadow gear are waiting for me at the front gate,
"Hey guys" I shout as I run to meet them
"Hey Levy" they both say back, we all start to walk to the guild, we all make small talk, the boys arguing as usual. Once we got to the guild I wave the boys off and head to the library, I skip my way to the mystery section and scan through the book,
Let's see one I haven't read yet, hmmmm, I scan through the books and come to one I don't think I've read yet, I reach up as far as I can but I fall short, I let a huff out,
"Can't reach something shorty" I hear a husky male voice say, I turn to see Gajeel leaning agaisnt the wall,
"My name is Levy" I growl at his putting my hands on my hips,
"I know, need help" he says, he walks up and grabs the book I was reaching for, he hands it to me with a small smile, a light blush comes across my face
"T-Thanks G-Gajeel" I studdering I hear him smirk, I blush and go sit in one of the library's comfy chairs and curl up with the book, oh good I haven't read this one, I sit and read the first page, iam about to turn the page when a hand reaches out and does it for me, I follow the hand to see it Gajeel,
"Um, t-thank you Gajeel" I say he smiles but its looks as if its a tired smile
"Are you alright" I ask
"Yeah I am fine just tired" he mumbles, I nod and read on, it once iam about to turn the page he does it again!!, I turn to him, he looks so tired,
"Gajeel, why don't you go home and get some sleep" I say,
"No iam fine, I just don't want to fall asleep right now" he mumbles, I nod and continue to read, he continues to turn the page for me, which I start not to mind, I think it's kinda sweet, he's also kinda cute, I go for the bad boy types, I finish the book within a few hours, I get up and so does Gajeel, "here shorty let me put it away" he smiles tiredly I hand it to him and he puts it away,
"Well Gajeel, this was nice but iam gonna go get a job" I smile,
"Do you think we could do a job together?" He yawns, I stop short,
"Um, I don't know, I have the other members of shadow gear to ask, so just give me a minute" I say I quickly walk out to the guild hall, I look around for them but I can't find them,
"Oh, Levy, the guys went home, they said they weren't feeling good and that you could go do a job if needed" Mira smiles, wow how convenient,
"Thank Mira" I say skipping back to the library to find Gajeel in the same spot I left him,
"Ya, sure we can go on a job together" I smile, I can see his whole self brighten, he gives me a sleepy smile,
"Ok lets go pick one out" he says taking my hand, I feel a deep blush come across my face as we walk to the request board, he grabs a job and shows it to me,
"This ok?" He asks, I take it and read it over,
"Sure, lets go" I smile
"I'll meet you at the train station in an hour" I smile and skip back to Fairy hills, its strange how iam always happy around him, and I always seem to be skipping, weired I come to a halt outside the gate and go up the stairs, I open the door and grab my traveling bag, pre packed for this occasion, but I want to go to the store and get some snacks, I tend to get very hungry when on a train ride.
