A man walks down an empty sidewalk just off of downtown London. It's quiet, but the voices of people could still be heard in the distance. Flickering neon signs surrounded the man. He walks into a motel with nothing but himself and whatever were in his pockets.

"Hello Harry," a woman with a name tag that read Lucy on it exclaimed, "another night in?"
"Yeah," Harry replied glumly," I couldn't afford the rent this month, so I'm kicked out until I can pay."
"That sucks. Well, you can always stay here, love." Lucy replied enthusiastically.

Lucy handed Harry a key to his room. He always stayed in this room. The man might as well just lived in the motel as he never lived in his apartment. His job didn't pay enough money and his roommate, Joseph, never payed his share of the rent. Harry's roommate didn't like to pay for the rent ever since he found out Harry was gay. He used to be in a band with Joseph as kids, but it never worked out as they had always fought over small things.

Harry entered the room and looked at his phone.

He had no notifications, as the man didn't have friends. Harry was too scared to trust anyone after an incident with his family. He never told anyone anything about himself unless he was required to do so. Suddenly, Harry had an urge to go to the restroom.

Restrooms were not located in the motel rooms, surprisingly. Harry had to walk into the lobby and enter the restroom there if he ever needed to use it. The man entered the restroom to see a short, fluffy haired man. He looked a little older than Harry although the shorter man was only about 5'2. Harry's heart fluttered and he didn't understand why. He unzipped he pants and did his business. Once the man was done, he zipped up his pants. Harry being the clumsy fool he was had bumped into the shorter man.

"Oops." The shorter man whispered and looked up.
"H-hi," Harry muttered, "I'm Harry."
"I'm Louis." He said as he got lost in Harry's eyes.

To Harry, Louis' eyes resembled the Earth. His eyes were blue with green and yellow circling his dilating pupils.
To Louis, Harry's eyes were emeralds. Sparkling gems just waiting to be found.
Harry didn't know what to do in a situation like this, but Louis being dominate, gave Harry his number. Louis washed his hands and left the bathroom.
What a mysterious person, Harry thought to himself, he hides so much in his eyes but I can tell he's somewhat of a goofball.
The man washed his hands and left the bathroom.

Harry laid back in his bed. So much can happen at midnight, he thought. For once in the man's life, the man had good thoughts. This time he wasn't thinking about how worthless he was compared to others. Harry struggled with depression and low self esteem. He never loved himself, nor did he like himself. Harry was the only person he hated. A serial killer could've killed his loved ones and the man would still manage to hate himself more than the serial killer. Tonight was good, though. All he was thinking about was Louis and he fell into a deep sleep. The sky was clear, just like man's heart and mind.
