Prologue

"Just listen to me. I ....... "

*crackle snap*

The air wrapped around me like a blanket. I looked up to watch my safe haven slowly disappear out of my sight. The fall was nothing. The realisation that I was never aloud to return was what was eating me alive. Why? You may ask. All because I fell in love with a demon.

Chapter 1

Out with a bang!

There comes a time where angels may "leave the nest" as some would say. God lets them go down to his beautiful creation and fit in for one whole year. Why? So they can find who they want to be a guardian angle for. Now it's not like you think. It takes time and patience. Sometimes God just sends them down to see what the world is like and teaches them to blend in with humans, just in case he needs them to do his biding.

That's where I come in. My name is Milo. Some would call me Gods messenger. I just call it work. Most people wouldn't even know that I was an angel if they looked at me. I have a back story , a home, and job. God tends to send me down more than anyone. I'm his most trusted adviser/messenger. I am what they call special gifted. God gave me more power than the rest of the angels. Mainly because I stay on earth longer. I never knew why he chose me,but I never questioned it. He was the boss, and I was his humble servant ready at his command.

The reason why you don't see any of this is because of the mist. God created the mist to blind humans from What he didn't want them to see. Which in my world, Is everything. He wouldn't want you to see the war ragging around you. The reason why I was sent down was because sword of David was stolen from us. We track it down to earth, but couldn't pin the exact point where it was located. That's why I was sent down. The job was not getting done as fast as He wanted. He wanted the sword and he wanted it right then and there.
