21st of April 2015.
The day when my life began. High school. It was terrible. it was scary. All my friends either moved back to America or went to Castal High, leaving me behind here in cold old Glasgow. Anyway, my first day of high school isn't how I would hope, think or plan for it to go. No friends, no stand outs no nothing. I was at the bottom of the food chain.
Hi my names Hazel Roth-Mackey, people call me many things but Hazzy is the most used, I don't have many friends and I'm defiantly not popular. I'm a nerd as many people would call me but that doesn't offend me. I believe being a 'nerd' is a good thing. Sometimes. I mean sure I'm not good at sport or art but being smart with English and math's is very good in life, when you get a job you can show them your immaculate resermay that has many achievements and certificates for spelling bee or mathletes. Anyway I don't want to bore you with my backstory so lets get back to high school...
First day. Scary. New teachers, new friends, new enemies and new bullies. But on my first day of high school I sat down and looked forward. A grey t-shirt with black short sleeves covering a long torso with blue ripped jeans covering the rest of his six-foot body. His short brunette quiff fell slightly over his perfectly built face. Deep blue eyes you could fall involve with within seconds, a perfectly structured nose, pale red lips covering his perfect straight white smile. Prominent check bones and trust me if you touched his jaw line, you'd get a deep cut on your finger... His strong British accent makes white girls faint when they hear it. The cutest accent I've ever heard. Jason O'riley.
I remember the day when I was staring at the back of Jason's perfect silky hair, he turned around quicker then I could look away and he caught me staring at his perfect brunette hair. He looked at me funny for a second and I quickly looked away at my desk and he giggled and with his adorable accent asked, "Could you possibly lend me a pen or pencil for I have misplaced mine." I looked back up at him for... too long and after a while I looked away and said nervously, "oh, oh yea...yea of course, I'll... I'll just find one..." I looked nervously in my desk for a pen, my hands shaking I get a blue fine tip pen and pointed it right in his face and he backed away when it touched his nose slightly, "oh. Shit. Sorry."
"Nah nah all good, ha ha. Thank you, Hazel" I nodded and thought to myself, 'good one Hazel, you fricking hit his fricking nose. And you gave him the pen you were using... good one.' I face palmed and bent back on my seat. I looked up at the ceiling and couldn't stop going back on my chair... 'Shit... shit... SHIT!' *bang* I fell straight on my back with the chair and just lay there whilst the whole class was looking back and laughing. I felt where my skirt was... lets just say it wasn't really covering my pink and green melon underwear. Jason stood up next to me smiling and showing off his purely whites and gave out his hand, "you need a hand up?" he said chuckling a little, I put my hand and he grasped mine. He lifted me up and I could see his big biceps tense as he pulled me.
"Thanks... Jason..." I said smiling and putting my hair behind my ear.
"Don't mention it" he said smiling kindly. He kept looking into my eyes and then Ashley Matthews said,
"Aye new guy, don't talk to that nerd." Ashley Matthews. Bitch. Head cheerleader. My enemy, and the bitch that's been bullying me for the past 5 years. Jason looked at Ashley and looked sad. He looked back at me and whispered sorry and sat down. My dream boy was the first nice person that's talked to me, on my first day. High school wasn't going to be as hard as I thought...
