After a day Azreal had recovered from his injuries so we left Ryloth and Hera who stayed with her father.
Our next destination was Alderaan, a beautiful planet. It had been a while since I had been there, but I enjoyed being back.
Azreal told me that there was a festival on this planet which we had to visit. I don't exactly know why, but he seemed to be very certain about it. 'What kind of festival is it?' I asked him out of curiosity. 'The festival of freedom.' he answered. He sounded happy, like he had been to this festival before.
I got up and left the ship, with Azreal right next to me.
The festival was great, it took my mind off of things I didn't want to think about, for example Anakin, Darth Vader. The people had decorated their homes and colored the streets. Everywhere were colors, something the Empire didn't have. It was their way of showing that Alderaan was still a free planet, even though it had been through a lot of attacks. Fortunately they resisted all of them and I hope they always will.
There were many people, not only humans but also Twi'leks, Rodians, Togrutas, Ithorians and even a Nautolan. There were a lot of other species as well.
My stomach started a rebellion by making weird noises and telling me that it was hungry. Azreal heard it. 'Shall we get some food?' he asked. The look in my eyes said enough so we started looking for a place to buy food. That wasn't hard because festivals mostly have a lot of food.
We bought some food and while we were eating it, we walked towards the edge of the city. There we sat for a while and watched the sunset.
'Do you want to have dinner? In a restaurant maybe?' Azreal asked me out of nowhere. 'Sure, if you pay.' I said a little bit sarcastic. But either Azreal didn't hear my sarcasm or he ignored it because he offered to buy me dinner.
And that's how it happened that we were walking back to the city and found a nice restaurant. Because of the festival there were a lot of people but we managed to get a table for two. That didn't mean the food came immediately. We waited for it and eventually paid for it.
We returned to the ship. 'Ahsoka?' a man's voice came out of nowhere. Quickly I looked around but I didn't see anyone. I looked at Azreal but he clearly didn't see anyone either.
I turned my head to the other side. I watched right in the blue eyes of the man. 'Lux?' I said surprised. 'Is it really you?'
'Yes it's me, Lux Bonteri. Ahsoka, you have no idea how grateful I am to see you here in person.' he said happy. 'I thought you were dead.' Lux said sad.
'But how did you escape? And why did you think I was dead?' I asked. 'Because of you I could escape.'
'Me?' I said surprised.
'The seperatists/Empire fleet held me captive, but you came and distracted them. They told me that they had executed order 66 and I'm pretty sure you know what that means. I thought they killed you too, but fortunately the opposite is true.''I'm glad to see you back in one piece Lux. I'd like to introduce you to my friend Azreal.' I said. 'Nice to meet you.' Azreal said. 'Same for me.'
Lux decided to enter the ship with us and stay there for the night. I walked to my room and tried to sleep, but I couldn't. The thought of Anakin being alive after what I did to him kept me awake. I really wanted things to go back the way they were, but I knew that was never going to happen. He'd better be dead. At least that's what my mind said, not my feelings. But as a Jedi I had learned to trust my mind first. I still miss him. But he was selfish and chose for himself.
'I'm a Jedi.' I said out loud. 'My job is to protect people from any harm, to destroy the Sith.'
What if order 66 really destroyed all of the Jedi? What if I really was the Last Jedi? I don't want to be the Last Jedi. Not the last one out of ten thousands of Jedi. Were all of them dead? Or did some of them manage to escape order 66 like I did?
I might be the only one to carry on the legacy of the Jedi. I made it my personal job to create a new Order, starting by training Azreal as my padawan. A padawan with a padawan, ironic. But first the Empire had to be defeaten.
Finally I fell asleep.
I woke up the next morning and immediately went to Azreal's room to tell him the news. I knocked on his door. The last time I knocked on someone's door my master was gone, but fortunately Azreal opened the door. 'What's up?' he said with a sleepy voice, I guess he just wasn't a morning person.
'I have a great idea!' I said. 'What is it?' Azreal asked curious this time. 'I'm going to rebuild the Jedi Order and take you as my padawan.'
Azreal looked at me like he had seen a ghost. 'That's a great idea.' he said eventually after a long awkward silence. 'Great.' I said and walked away.
In the afternoon I decided to explain Azreal how I was going to teach him. Lux was listening too, but he didn't have to because he didn't have enough midi-chlorians to use the Force.
After a while I went for a walk on my own. As I sat on the top of a hill I activated my Lighsabers. Their green colors matched the landscape perfectly. 'This weapon is your life.' I heard Anakin saying in my head. And it was true, if it wasn't for my Lightsabers I would've died a lot of times by now.
Did I have to hide them? Now the Empire controlled the galaxy and killed all of the Jedi that seemed like a good idea. On the other hand, it would give people hope. But I decided to hide them, to stay anonymous.

So here's the funny part. I've rewritten this part on the 10th of April 2017 (Daisy Ridley's 25th birthday!) and decided not to give it a title. The original version was last edited on the 9th of October 2015 and it was called "The Last Jedi", just like Episode 8 which is going to be released this year.
