Tis a Sunday morning where the birds chirp, the flowers bloom, and the wind howls. I was getting ready for another boring day at work.....or so she thinks. I have lived in a little town called Silver City, NM. Not many people leave here which makes this town pretty empty. I don't see too many men around because some men work or they just don't live here.

On this Sunday morning I notice a man walking into Silver Cafe, the place where I work, for the very first time. I took this man as a very handsome species. He had a tan body, brown eyes, a beautiful smile, and a face that you will never forget. He wore a suit that looked like it was tailored. It was gray with a little black handkerchief in the pocket. His hair was nice, better then the men's hair that lived here. It was brown but had a little blonde highlight to it which made it more attractive to the eye.

"Hello", I said  in kind of a joyous but bashful way, "what may I get for you today?"

He turned his beautiful light brown eyes seeping through my hazel eyes. He gives me a beautiful white smile.

"Hello", he said, "I'd like to have one of the lovely cups of coffee that your cafe makes and may I say you look lovely today"

I felt butterflies roll all over my body. It was like electricity surged through me. His raspy voice gave this effect. He was a guy that I dreamed of and know I can't have.

A while later he finished his coffee while reading Pride and Prejudice. I went over grabbed his plates and went back to the kitchen. All I see is him standing near the door waiting.

"I apologize for not introducing myself", he said " my name is Edward, Edward Dean"

I paused cause I didn't know what to say and then I snapped back to the real world. "Hello! My name is Anabell. It's a pleasure to meet you! ", I said.

"The pleasure is all mine Madame..I apologize for staring so much it's just your beauty has captured me, I hope I see you a round dear Anabell", he said.

He walked over to me grabbed my hand and kissed it. He turned towards the door while looking at me and gave me a wink before he left. So I guess chivalry isn't really dead.
