Anthony POV:
As I walk into Joven's place, I feel a bit nervous. No one else knew that I have liked Joshua since the first time we met. "Hello?" I hear him say across the room as I enter.
"Hey, Joven, can I talk to you for a bit?" As I say this, I feel my stomach twisting and turning with every movement. I look over and see him standing behind his couch facing me with a beer in hand.
"Sure buddy. W- what about?" As he stutters, I begin to smile but force it back for the moment.
"Um, we both have had bad breakups over the years," I was referring to Kalel and mines breakup. "So, would you want to ho out sometime?" I say this with anticipation wondering if he will break my heart, or be in my life forever.
"Anthony, I'm flattered, I really am, but. . . I'll get back to you."
After he said this, my heart sank. I was worried that he was uncomfortable around me, luckily we aren't recording for a week so I won't know till then.
The next week I was so nervous I think I puked a few times. Waiting for someone to tell you yes is like waiting for rain in the Sahara Desert. As the week passed, I tried to keep myself busy.
Finally, Joven came up to me and said, "Anthony, it has taken me a lot of thought, so I decided to say yes." Inside my head, I was screaming like a maniac hyped up on caffeine.
The next days we were planning out our dates for a while; meanwhile, Mari and Matt were having "dates" of their own.
I didn't notice before, but when Joven was alone with a guy, he acted more gay than straight. It didn't worry me at all since we have confessed our love to each other. At least in my mind we did.
