Note the sarcasm...

Welp. Got another MRI. Just waiting for the results!!

And well I'm in a pickle.

I'm starting to fall for my bestfriend and I think he like's me too. But idk.

Help me!

Anywhore. Let's get this chapter started!

Jack

I groaned as I heard my phone ding.

"What the hell people." I mumbled as I used my hand to feel around my bedside table. "I'm trying to sleep here."

I finally found my phone and hit the home button.

"Shit!" I yelled as I dropped it and covered my eyes.

Stupid bright light...

After finally being able to see again, I unlocked my phone and saw that I had a new message from River.

River: Hey. Wanna go get some breakfast?

I smiled as I typed him back.

Me: Sure. I would love too. What time?

I put my phone down just as it dinged.

I hate when that happens.

River: We can go now? I can come pick you up?

Me: Sure :)

I finally decided and got up to get ready.

I groaned as I brushed my hair.

I hate morning.

Getting ready didn't take very long and I ran to the front door when I heard the doorbell ring.

I stopped running though when I saw a note on the table.

Dear Ms. Banks.

You were out of groceries so I left this morning to go get some. It won't take long and I will be right back.

Have a good day.

-Hank.

'Aww Hank.' I laughed to myself.

Too bad you're a bad guy.

I heard the doorbell ring again.

"Oh crap!" I yelled as I ran towards the door.

"Hey." River smiled as he saw me.

"Hey." I smiled back. "You can come in. I need to grab my purse."

River nodded and closed the door behind him.

"You're house is beautiful." River smiled.

"Thank you." I smiled back. "I'm glad you like it."

"I love the whole country design going on. It reminds me of my house." River smiled as he looked at everything.

I was about to answer him, but the doorbell rang again.

"What the?" I muttered confused as I walked towards my door.

River followed me, but stayed off to the side.

Damn River.

He was watching me like a hawk.

"Hel-oh. It's you." I sighed as I saw Derek standing there.
