Seeing Catherine, his anger has reached its peak. The only thing that’s in his mind is revenge. “SIMON!” he screamed searching for Simon in the middle of the battlefield. He killed some warriors blocking his way until his eye caught Simon. He ran towards him gripping his sword. Simon looked back, and cower seeing Raymond raising his hand with the sword, approaching his face, but he blocked it with his arm, and so it was cut.
On the other hand, Philip was running through the woods trying to protect Blaire from King Simon’s warriors who were chasing them. There came a time when he was already tired and he thought of leaving Blaire to hide her from the warriors. But she was still thinking of her safety so he continued running. He felt that the warriors were getting near them, so he saw the river by the side. He left the child on the basket, letting it flow with the river. “I will come back, Blaire. I will return you to where you should belong. I promise.”
He ran and ran when suddenly, he hit a giant tree. He fell and was unconscious. When he woke up, he saw King Simon staring at him. “Where is the child?” King Simon said angrily. “I don’t know,” Philip replied. “Liar! Where did you put the child?” King Simon insisted. “The child died when we were trying to escape. She loses her breath so I left her in the woods,” Philip said. “Look for the child. Dead or alive, I want to see her. I want to make sure that no one would inherit Leumartheow rather than me,” he ordered to his men. “And you Philip, you will be imprisoned unless you say the truth about the princess.” Where could be the princess right now? I hope she’s okay. I promised the Queen to take care of her, but how can I if I’m in Simon’s hands? Philip thought to himself. The guards dragged and tied him. They put him in the dungeon to be enslaved forever.
Simon had thought of another plan on how to conquer Leumartheow. “I believe this plan would be better. Raymond doesn’t know anything about this”, he said to himself.
Years passed…
King Raymond met a girl named Margareth. He doesn’t know anything about her past but because of her kindness and beauty, the king was attracted. Margareth has a son named Eric. King Raymond treated him as his own son and so as Eric.
