Chapter 27: Rido's Last Words, And Airisu's Pain

Third person P.O.V

"Argghh!" Airisu grunted in pain as an other Level E stabbed her in the stomach. Airisu was losing a lot of blood, and it didn't help that hordes of Level E's kept coming, one after an other. Having enough of the Level E's, Airisu swung her sword up and cut off as many Level E's as possible. When she cut one up, she heard dark chuckling and was punched in the back of her head, making her fly forward into a wall.

"My, my Little Rose." Rido began tauntingly." It seems as if you're having a hard time." That she was. She struggled to get up as black dots filled her vision. However, before she could manage to get to her feet, Rido yanked her body up by the roots of her hair, causing blood to fall down her skull.

"Airisu! Leave her alone Rido!" Haruka yelled out, but he as well as the other on lookers were ignored, as Rido tossed Airisu's body up in the air, and slammed it down with a wall of his blood.

"You betrayed me Airisu!" Rido yelled out as Airisu's body crashed down on the earth, creating a small crater.Rido walked calmly up to Airisu, who was struggling to get up, as her breathing came out in pants.Yanking her up by her throat, Rido pierced her stomach with a blood spike and had her chained up in a cross shape by his blood chains.Hanging her." You betray me! I have loved you and cared for you, yet you betray them for me! You try to die for them!" Rido gripped her throat harder and laughed maniacally." SHOW ME! SHOW ME THE QUEEN'S TRUE POWERS! SHOW ME YOUR EMBODIMENT!" With that he began slowly making the arrows stretch Airisu's body, and he made thousands of tiny spikes hit her, careful to miss the vital points, like her heart.

Airisu's eyes widened as the tiny spikes in her body grew and stabbed her, cell by cell." AHHHH!" Airisu screamed and suddenly a bright white light flashed behind her back, making Rido laugh darkly.

First, beautiful big rainbow laced butterfly wings appeared behind her back. These wings were not like Yuki's. No. They were much larger, more beautiful and very colorful." So your embodiment is a butterfly? Just like your sister." Rido said darkly, but he stopped when he noticed, a white bird's feather slowly fluttering down. Then another and another. Looking at Airisu's back once more, he gasped in awe. Attached toAirisu's back were two large, soft pure white angel wings." I-Impossible." Rido mumbled out shell shocked, but he smirked and pierced her wings with ten to twenty blood arrows.

"AHHHHH!" Airisu yelled out in pain, and Rido began pulling at her exposed angel wings.

"So beautiful Airisu." Rido taunted as he painfully yanked on her wing. Having enough of the pain, Airisu closed her eyes, and with all her might, she made her wings expand, and she flapped. She managed to get into the air, but since the blood spikes were still in her, Rido managed to pulled her down rather hard. Whimpering, and struggling to see, Airisu willed her wings to vanish. Then Rido pulled her up by her hair once again and punched her in the chest, sending her flying into a fallen building.

Gasping for breath, as her heart beat slower, and dots danced in and out of her sight, Airisu pictured her brothers, Yui, her father, and everyones' faces she suddenly felt a surge of adrenaline, and her eyes glowed a violent crimson color.

I am the queen!

I won't be beaten by a psychotic pureblood!

Airisu's legs were wobbly, but she stood up leaning against the wall slightly. Looking up at a smirking Rido she glared and pushed herself off the wall, catching her balance.

They are depending on me!

Millions will die if I give up!

With a determined face, and blood as hot as fire, Airisu dashed in vampiric speed towards Rido, who also ran towards her. Their fists met, creating a big crater and with a grunt, Airisu sent punch after punch towards Rido.

" I'm surprised you lasted this long." Rido said as he barely dogged a punch and kick from Airisu." I didn't expect you to have so much fight in you!" Rido commented rather happily as if he was having a conversation with an old friend and not in the middle of a battle."This is rather fun, now maybe I'll visit that family of yours when I'm through with you." Rido taunted, and Airisu's eyes widened.

"You will not touch them!!" With new found determination, Airisu assent punch after kick after punch at Rido, who barely managed to keep up. Finally, having enough, Rido punched Airisu's stomach, as Airisu punched Rico's face, and the two went sent flying in opposite directions.

Sliding down the wall, which began cracking, Airisu tried to steady her breath.' I'm not gonna make it. I have to kill him though!' Suddenly a hand gripped Airisu's head and began throwing it back against the wall, creating a mess of blood, and more cracks to appear in the wall." You betrayed me!" Rido yelled as he kept hitting Airisu's head back against the concrete wall." You lied! You broke my heart Airisu! Making their side even after what they done to you!" Rido then growled and bared his fangs." You said you loved me! Was that a lie too!?"

Airisu looked up at Rido and weakly smiled, as she numbly took his hand into one of hers." I'm sorry. I'm sorry I hurt you Uncle, but you can't do this. It's wrong. I'm not taking their side, I'm just protecting innocent lives. I love you Uncle. I'msorry for all the pain I've caused you. Please, don't do this." With a violent cough, Airisu weakly wrapped her arms around Rido's neck and hugged him close to her." I'm sorry. Please stop all of this nonsense and come home with me. We'll create a new era not only within the vampire race, but with in the Kuran bloodline. A new era with love, care and kindness. Acceptance. please Rido I'll promise to always stay by your side and to never leave. Just quit this nonsense and come with me." Airisu had silent years streaming down her cheeks." Stay with me and we'll make a new life. One filled with peace, just please stop this idiotic war." Rido gently pulled away and glanced down at Airisu. But before he could give an answer, the wall creaked and everything began falling down.

"Uncle!" Airisu yelled out, and once the building collapsed on them, there was only a big cloud of dust. Airisu opened her eyes and saw her Uncle hovering above her, with a rail through his heart. The rail was just an inch way from hitting his intended target, if Rido hadn't had covered her. With crystal drops streaming down her face, airisu placed her hand gently to her Uncle's cheek and whispered," Why?"

Rido only smiled and said," You are the only one who had ever loved me. The only one to stay by my side." Rido leaned into her palm, and raised his own palm to her cheek." I wish I would have let Juri marry Haruka sooner, so that way I would have met you sooner than I did." Rido whispered.

Airisu's eyes widened as Rido's legs began turned into crystal. She stared into her uncles heterochromic eyes which shone in happiness, yet regret." Uncle! Drink my blood before it's too late!"

Rido just smiled and gently, met lips with Airisu. When he gently pulled away, only his face wasn't turned into crystal. He smiled gently and nuzzled Airisu's cheek. Then he gave her a tender Eskimo kiss and whispered,"I'll watch over you my little Rose."

Before Airisu could sy anything, Rico's body along with the rail bursted into crystals and flew away with them wind, but Airisu managed to catch one piece of crystal that turned in to a dark red gemstone, that had a giant blue gleam. Crying, Airisu clutched the jewel to her heart. After a few seconds, she opened her eyes with determination.

It's time to put an end to this night, once and for all.
