Ever find it hard to easily sprinkle your hamsters millet/oats/mini seed add ins without them spilling everywhere? Here is a DIY treat "sprinkle" idea to help solve that! I invented this neat trick for small add-ons using simple things you can probably find in your house. It's easy! Here is how to make it.
Stuff you'll need:
-An empty spice jar with a "sprinkle" cap (so you can shake it and the food will come out) OR an old, empty sprinkle jar.-Some seeds, oats, millet, or any small treats that will fit through the holes of the jar.
Instructions:
First, clean out the small jar or container COMPLETELY. Using some mild dish soap or a water-vinegar solution, throughly clean and soak it so there are no left over spices or sprinkles still inside.Next, just add a mixture of seeds, oats, or small treats to the jar. Now just put the kids on and you're done!
This is SUPER cute and easy, and make sure to comment if you try this, or any other DIY in this book. I'd love to have feedback, too!!! See ya soon! :)
