In this world we crave depression,
That which starts our heart's recession.
Then Happiness becomes an abnormality,
And feinting kindness a formality.
We masquerade behind façade,
Waiting to discharge our negative thoughts on the nearest human lightning rod.
But If we try to stay negative in our endeavor,
We find, negative thoughts don't last forever,
And in our lives breaks a ray shine,
A singular ray of hope for mankind.
