It's the last day of Carry Nation high, I'm really gonna miss this place I thought to myself as I enter the school gates, as soon as I walk in I see my best friend Elise.
"Oh my god, I can't believe after 5 years you are leaving, I'm gonna miss you so much!" She said as she hugged me.
"Yeah I don't really have a choice do I. I scoffed. My stupid parents just don't get it my whole life is here. I'm gonna miss you so much!" I said.
We walk to registration while Elise blabbed on how much she will miss me and complaining I was thinking maybe Nebraska won't be that bad I mean I've done it before, it's just about meeting new people what if they hate me, what if I don't have any friends, what if I'm one of them kids that sit by themselves at lunch, wait what if-- ugh I'm just over thinking.

As me and Elise walk into the canteen I scan the big room for our table that we normally sit on, my eyes fix on the table and of course The plastics (mean girls af) known as Jasmine, the spoilt brat that always has to get her own way. Chloe, the dumb blonde (no hate on blondes) who only cares about boys and partying. and the biggest bitch of them all, Brittany. She has ruined my life ever since I have moved here, she dated my brother just to get into the cheer team and looks like she has been raped by an orange crayon. have invaded our table I wish they would just back off. she has been there ruining my life for a whole 5 years but not today she won't. I'll give her a taste of her own medicine..
I give Elise a look as if to say 'it's about to go down' and smirk, she knows what I'm talking about and gives me a ' are you crazy!' Look I just brush it off and keep my eyes fixed on the 3 barbies, I walk up to the table, I've been waiting to do this for 5 years.
"Hey Brittany I just wanted to say you look really different today, what look did you go for? the slutty half naked pumpkin?"
She scoffed "aweee is that all little Sammy's got?" She said pinching my cheeks, I push her orange hands off "oh yeah and by the way tell your brother he was shit in bed anyways" she said as she chewed her gum in my face like a horse and swirl her long blonde hair round on her false nails and with that her and her barbies leave the table while cackling.
I flop down into the seat and sigh, "listen Sam don't listen to her she has probably fucked half of the boys in this year how would she know, your brother deserves better than that" Elise said as she sat down opposite of me. I gave her a weak smile and said "this is why you are my best friend" she smiled back then the bell rang.
(End of school)
Im meeting Elise at the vending Machine after school to say goodbye, this is going to be hard.. As I wait I look about I see a really old year book, as I look through Elise gets here a few minutes later. "I'm sorry I'm so late Mr Ellis held me back" "it's okay, I was looking through this year book, we've all changed a lot" I say surprised "yeah" she sighed while peering over my shoulder "oh my gosh! Look at you Sam!!" She laughed I had braces and glasses "you've changed a lot" she said wide eyed "yeah, for the best I'd say" I smirked we sat there silent for a moment "you know I'm gonna miss you so much, you are my only friend here, my locker is right next to the boys bathroom and I have to go to p.e class by myself" she complained "I'm gonna miss you too chum" i said giving her a long hug we finally broke apart and said our goodbyes "remember to FaceTime me and text me the whole time!" She reminded me "of course!" With that we walked our separate ways.
As soon as I got home I changed into some yoga pants and a baggy t-shirt, and finished packing because tomorrow we are leaving for Nebraska.
