How the hell did Teddy end up getting Head Boy? He literally gave half a rat's arse about studies, lived in detention, and he didn't want the extra responsibility of Head Boy. He wanted to focus on getting drafted to a Quidditch team this year.

"Must have been Neville," Harry was telling at him a breakfast, "bet he recommended you. Bet he sees how much potential you actually have." Teddy looked down, trying to look like his bacon was the most interesting thing he had ever seen.

"But Teddy, listen to me. You need a plan for when you graduate. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Study for the N.E.W.T.S, I urge you. It's what your parents would want." What the fuck was Harry playing at? He was no Hermione Granger back in his Hogwarts days.

"And," Harry leaned in, "every time you have that nightmare about your parents, write to me. I don't know when it rains in Scotland, but promise you'll write." During his teenage years, Teddy knew, Harry would often have recurring nightmares about Lord Voldemort that often had some sort of hidden message. As an auror, Harry was always insisting Teddy's nightmare about his parents had a hidden message as well, and wanted to get to the bottom of it.

"James Sirius Potter, now is not the time to have lost your wand!" Ginny's voice rang from James's bedroom.

A muffled reply came from James. "It's been two weeks? Well, now is not the time to tell me about  it!"

Teddy ran into his room to double check that he had everything. James Potter was Head Boy, Teddy thought to himself as he examined his trunk, if he got Head Boy,then it isn't that hard of a position to get.

"We leave to catch the train in an hour and a half," Ginny called from downstairs. Teddy thought about the year ahead of him. Seventh Year! He was already at the top, and now he would be the top of the top! Teddy couldn't wait to tell Liam about his summer.

Liam Finnigan, Teddy's best friend, was the son of Seamus Finnegan's much older sister.  Liam was one of the smartest boys in Teddy's grade. He was surely going to get a job in the Department of Mysteries or some important thing of that sort. But Liam was no Percy Weasley; he knew how to have fun. Plus he told the best dirty jokes on the goddamn planet (recognized by the Marauders themselves).

Teddy hadn't actually thought about what he was going to do when he saw Victoire. They hadn't spoken since Harry's birthday party, and being the arse he was, Teddy hasn't tried to speak with her. Teddy didn't really do relationships; he had never actually reached this point with a girl. He was what Liam would call a "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" type of bloke, which Teddy really hoped wasn't going to happen with Victoire; they hadn't even shagged yet. Speaking of, Victoire was the only girl Teddy has seen in the past month. A month, and nothing physical happened between him and Victoire, or him and anyone for that matter. Teddy can't remember the last time he was this celibate. Obviously, he was given opportunities. Wherever he went, girls were flirting left and right, but the thought of them not being Victoire pushed Teddy away. Hell, the last time he was this celibate, he was still a virgin. But what was he going to do? If Teddy went up to Victoire on the Hogwarts Express, she would probably be surrounded by friends and feel a bit uncomfortable. Hell, he'd be uncomfortable, so he couldn't quite make his move on the train. He didn't even know if he was going to tell Liam.

"Children," Ginny called, "start coming down the stairs it will take us five minutes to get to King's Cross."

Teddy picked up his trunks and began walking out of his room when the Marauders stumbled into his room. "Good luck on your last year, Teddy!" Lily smiled brightly, "I'm going to go help James search for his wand," she ran out of the portrait. "Lils and I got together 7th year," James winked, "so good luck in that department, mate. Try to actually get to know the girls now." "James!" Sirius smacked his best friend on the head, "get your head out of your arse; what type of advice is that?" James ran out to join Lily. Sirius smiled, "Now, I would have given you that exact same advice if your parents weren't standing right there." Remus and Tonks were rubbing their foreheads over what James said. Teddy wasn't sure how he felt about his parents now knowing about his sex life.
