Chapter 29

~READ AUTHOR'S NOTE~
A/N hey guys ! No time no write ! I need to stop saying sorry and start doing it. I have gotten so busy with speech team and show choir I haven't wrote in so long ! I'm on spring break now so I will try and get into a habit of writing again. Also I used to have 10 already written chapters for this story but then they all got delated 😕. But they were badly written anyway. Now I can start fresh ! Forgot everything that was written behind because all my grammar writing sucked and it was awful. Anyway hope you enjoy this chapter !

Carter POV :
I put my phone away and I see Nallie sitting up, scratching her head.

Wut are you looking at ? She said all tired.

Well you just woke up and I just looked at you, that's all, I said.

Well ok, she said.

She is so sassy, I thought to myself.

Hey I'm going to wash my face ok ?, she said getting out of bed.

Yeah bathroom is that way , I said pointing left.

Thanks, she said.

She turned up the sink and splashed her face with water.

I went to my closet and got out a clean towel and handed it to her.

Thanks :) , she said with a smile.

She sat down on my bed again.
There was a pause.

Nallie, don't say anything until I am finished. Don't care about what other people say about you ! You are a beautiful human being and no one deserves to be treated like this, especially you. I don't know why those people hate you but they don't have a good reason to hate you. There is nothing to hate about you. Don't listen to them. They are jealous. Remember Nallie, you are beautiful.

She looked at me with soft eyes. She leaned in.

My thoughts: shit shit shit ! She's about to kiss me.

I closed my eyes and waited for our lips to touch.

Instead I felt arms around my torso.

I got a hug. A hug. -.-  .

I hugged her back. At least she didn't punch me. That's good. A hug is the closest thing to a kiss.

Carter thanks, really thanks, she said.

Remember that everyday. I said.

Hey instead of sitting here the whole time lets go to the park, it's not that far from here, we can walk, She said.

I'll go change, she said.

Alright cool, I'll meet you at your house, I said.

She left and I heard the door close.

(The day is going to be Friday because it's been so long since I wrote the story so I don't remember the day )
I found a book bag  and put a thick blanket in it and some fruit and whatever food I can find in the house and stuffed it in my book bag. Grabbed a few water bottles and shoved them in.

Nallie's pov
I ran into my house and found whatever I could wear. I found a giant grey sweater top and put black leggings on. I threw on white converse and grabbed a bookbag in case for anything. I put some water and first aid kit and medicine and extra clothes and what not. The park we're going is woodsy. But if Carter is there I feel safer. I quickly ran downstairs and sat on my porch for a couple of minutes.

"Hey beautiful", he said coming closer to me.

"Oh stop, you look nice", I said looking at him with his khaki pants and a gray shirt.

Thanks I tried..... Just for you ;), he said.

Oh stop your making me blush lets go, I said.

We started walking and got near the park, it was so beautiful and clean and the air was so fresh. There was no one there so we got a spot near the river. He put out the blanket and got the food and other stuff out.

I sat there just looking at the trees and listening to the rush of water and the light breezy air of wind. I then felt the sun go away.

"What is this", I asked Carter feeling my head.

"A hat, so you don't get sunburnt", he said sitting down next to me.

"Thanks hahah" I said adjusting it for a little bit.

I helped him put the blanket down and we both sat down.

"Here I'm you want a .... Apple ?", he said looking in his basket.

"Nah I don't like apples," I said.

"Well I literally grabbed whatever I have in my house and put it in so I have at least 20 apples in here," he said.

Ok then I'll take an apple then, I said.

He gave me an apple and I bit into it.

After awhile with me finishing my apple we cleaned everything up and decided to walk around for a little bit.

"Hey Nallie," said Carter.

"Hm?", I said as I took a picture of a flower.

"This looks like you", he said.

I turned around but he was hiding something behind his back.

"Close your eyes and hold out your hand", he said.

"Why should I trust you?", I said.

"Because I'm the only one that can save you from the bears", he said.

"Ummm... We don't have bears here ..." I said.

"Just trust me", he said.

"Fine", I said.

I closed my eyes and expected the worse and it came truth. I felt something with big legs crawling all over hand.

"Carter"

"Yes"

"Are you positive this looks like me"

"Pretty close"

"Should I even open my eyes?"

"Nah you already know what you look like"

I opened my eyes and I find at least 20 giant beetles on my hands.

"Seriously" I said as I put my hand on the ground and the beetles scurried off.

"What I thought your scared of bugs," he said.

"Nah," I said and kept on walking on the trail.

"You know Nallie, you are a strong girl", said Carter.

"All girls are strong", I said looking through the photos of flowers I took.

"Wait, Nallie watch out!, said Carter.

Wait I gotta edit this - AHHHHHHH

I really gotta start watching where I'm going.
