Privyet readers! APH-Russia here. I realize I'm jumping on the bandwagon, but this plot bunny has been annoying the hell outta me. I'm here to sort out any issues and questions you may have upon reading this story.
1: There will be slight swearing in this story. The farthest I will go is "hell," "damn," and "bastard" because of Edo-kun's potty mouth. Any words stronger than that (such as the F-word) will be censored. Yes, @$$ is not very strong but I'd rather not type it. It's not fun to type swear words.
2: Edward does NOT have a German accent. I'm aware that the Gate connecting to Amestris is in Germany, but I like Japanese accents and I'm also a learner of the Japanese language, so I'd rather have Edward speak Japanese, because making up languages sucks and the only things I know how to say in German are "I love you" and 1, 2, and 3. In order for this to fit in, I decided that Amestris and surrounding areas (Xing, etc.) are territories of Japan that the rest of the world was never told about. Japanese accents are tough to type, unlike German, but the general gist is that sometimes Ed will pronounce "l" as "r," "r" as a slight "d" sound (just think of the way they pronounce "r" in Japanese), and "v" as "b." However, Edward mostly has his accent under control, and will only have the accent when he is tired, stressed, freaking out, talking quickly, or annoyed. Sometimes when he is teaching it will come out when he's not paying attention, and fangirling from certain female students (namely Lavender Brown and the like) will ensue. However, the way he pronounces "r" will stay the same because it's adorable. I'm not going to write every "r" as "d" though, so just imagine Ed's beautiful voice.
3: Yes, yes, Edward is always more fun to write when he's short. But Jesus Christ, it's kind of absurd to have a 5-foot-tall 15-year-old teaching, so he's 5-foot-3 and 18 years old. He's still short though, haha.
