Chapter 30: The Depths Of Despair, And The Pureblood Princess's Revival

Have you ever wondered what death felt like?

Well, it's feels numb. There's nothing but an endless field of sand, that goes on and on. There's no color, no sound, and no living person, except for the young vampiress.

Airisu slowly opened her beautiful maroon eyes, only to realize that she was alive. Sitting up with a gasp, Airisu touched her chest, only to feel nothing." W-where......am I?" Airisu questioned as she looked around the black and gray barren watseland.

"The Depths Of Despair." A velvety voice said, causing Airisu to turn her head around.

Standing up cautiously, Airisu looks around." Hello!?" Feeling a presence nearby, Airisu hugs herself." Am I.....dead?" Airisu questions the voice.

" No.........you're not dead, but you're not alive either." The voice replied.

" So......I'm dying?" Airisu questioned.

"...........Yes..........you're body in the real world is dead, but your soul and spirit is alive, so your stuck in The Depths Of Despair."

" The Depths......Of Despair?" Airisu questioned and studied her surroundings.

" Yes, this is the place where all souls stuck between life and death end up."

Airisu glanced around and asked," Where's everyone else then?"

" There is no one else here. Just you and I."

" Why?"

"Because." Silence came afterwards, but the voice suddenly whispered," You're special." Airisu slowly nodded, not knowing what the voice meant.

Airisu scratched her neck and asked," What's your name?"

" I go by many names, but you may call me Sariel."

Airisu's eyes widened, but before she could comment, a familiar voice said,"Musume."

Gasping Airisu looked around," Daddy!?"

"It seems he is waking you up." The voice said sadly." No fear, we shall meet again soon......Airisu."

Then, white flash through Airisu's vision.

With The Others

Karl softly stroked his daughter's hair. He never took his eyes off of Airisu." Rosemary. You are a Sakamaki," The Kuran glared at Karl as he said this, but he just ignored them and continued talking to his little girl." You can survive this. Daddy knows you can. Rosemary, daddy wants you to come back, don't come towards the light. You'll feel.......something warm going down your throat, and I need you to swallow it, and come back to us, alright Musume." Karl said and he kissed his daughter's forehead.

"Why is the grass.....dying?" Senri asked curiously.

"Because Rosemary's soul is dying, so the world is mourning her upcoming death." Karl explained, and truth be told the skies were gray, flowers were dying, and it was all silent.  He then looked up at the others and said," I need three of you to cut yoruselves." Karl stated, more like ordered with determination in his eyes.

" Why?" Ruka asked and Karl rolled his eyes. He sliced his wrist with his nail, making red ooze out of the wound, and he raised it above Airisu's mouth, making red droplets fall.

" Specifically Haruka's, Kaien's, and-" Karl turned towards the Tsukinami Brothers." One of yours as well."

" Why them?" Yuki asked and Karl rolled his eyes, stilling holding his wrists above her lips.
