Chapter 1- joining the scouting regiment

The carriage slowly came to a stop as you looked through the window at the castle type head quarters owned by the scouts. You were 17, yes you're older then most of the other trainees but you never minded that. You had (h/l) (h/C) {hair length an hair color}. The moon was shining brightly over many trainees that wished to join the scouts.

You exited the carriage while looking at a brightly lit stage, the commander looked down at about 20-30 trainees who were willing to join. Once he and the captains took their places on stage, we saluted them an he began his speech. You began to look around seeing people leave not wanting to risk their lives. 'really? They want to save humanity but wont risk their lives in doing so.... not everyone will die...' you thought to yourself.

Erwin, the commander, looked at the few recruits before him. "well I see we have some brave soldiers. It'll be a pleasure to work with you outside the walls." He said with a smile and allowed us to be dismissed. You were a bit scared but had an emotionless face, why have feelings when all they do is get you killed, is what you thought when you felt fear rush through you.

You never really talked to anyone and kept to yourself not wanting to feel like you once again had a family only to possibly lose them. You felt like you only just started training and now you graduated, now you were joining the scouting regiment. 'I swore id take back wall Maria for you my dear friends and family... ill see you soon after I do my part for humanity...I promise..' you thought to yourself, determination on your face. You knew what squad would be perfect for this, Levi's squad. This is what was best and you'd do anything to get in his squad and make history for the sake of humanity. "time to take back what was ours... look out titans... and squad Levi, I'm gonna join you even if it takes all my strength..." you whispered and smirked. Unknown to you a little shorty heard this and smirked slightly.
